That’s my point, they deliberately erred on the side of implausible because a plausible scenario would have been too political.
They had to have a scenario where both red and blue staters can walk out of the movie feeling they were on the winning side.
They cannot win. But neither can we. All a civil war would do is destroy them country. Even if somehow you could win, (whatever that means) you would now inherit a country where half the population despises you. It would make reconstruction look like a picnic because libs are literally everywhere.
With such an internal dissent wing, you can only govern by becoming an authoritarian government. That is what we are headed for and to an extent already in. No matter who wins, a “republic” is not in our near future.
There are plenty of temporary ag visas for the west coast labor need. They would start in So Cal and work up north to Washington with the ripening fruit. There was an entire industry transporting and recruiting them on H-2A visas to work legally. The millions coming across the border now are not coming her to work. They are coming to leech off the tax payer.
Because they weren’t allowed to bring them. If they did they’d be arrested on the spot before the capitol walkthrough.

Here is the reality.
In a US civil war, the world will be on the Blue side.
So will most of the military, police, industry, and political leaders.
On the Red side will be the people in the hinterlands, without access to the coasts or major waterways.
Some Blue areas will fall at first, but there is no way for rural Texas (and yes, it will not be Austin, Dallas, or Houston) to project force very far.
In short the center will be hollowed out, and the coasts with ports and naval assets can be resupplied.
Money wins wars. Look where the money is.
But it will cost 10’s, if not 100’s, of millions of people.
I dont agree. Ag and construction dont want to pay labor with H visa costs. They want cheap undocumented labor.

If they do that than one really has nothing to lose. When they prevent a man from providing for his family that man may become uncivil.
The other side can do that with a line of code.

Reall? It was the South that vote overwelmingly for the fascist Wilson and Fdr. It is now a heartland of Conservatism, but back then, it voted for leftists who hated the Conservative American Founding.
Not so with the other 80 million gun owners.

It won’t be us they invade, it will be Taiwan and Israel. We will be out of the picture. Taiwan will fall, but Israel will not. So the “kings of the east” will march westward, to help finish Israel off.
The USA will be too busy fighting against all the enemies within our own borders to effectively do anyhting about anybody else.
