I agree. I’m glad that we still live in a country where Mr. Chappelle can voice unpopular opinions. If his so-called fans disagree with him, that’s between him and them.
On the other hand, I disagree with him on the issue of law firms and investment banks rescinding job offers to pro-Palestinian students at Harvard etc. If I’m running a law firm or an investment bank, and I don’t like your politics, I shouldn’t have to hire you.
Isn’t there something in the US constitution about freedom of association?
I very much appreciate his willingness to not parrot the popular perspective.
Likewise, Bill Burr may have lost many when he made a foul comment about Jesus Christ.

Indeed, but it cuts both aways. The Harvard students are free to associate with whatever political activists and causes they want. At the same time, Goldman Sachs, as a private company, is also free to associate or not associate with those Harvard students.
