Robert F. Kennedy Jr. running as an independent 2024 presidential candidate would help former President Donald Trump and hurt President Joe Biden in the general election, a recent Echelon Insights survey found.
A preview of the survey shows Trump leading Biden in a head-to-head presidential matchup nationally, 46 percent to 43 percent — a three-point lead. In that scenario, 11 percent remain unsure for whom they would vote.
However, with Kennedy running as an independent candidate, Trump’s lead over Biden expands by one point, growing to four points — 40 percent to Biden’s 36 percent. Kennedy garners 14 percent support. In that scenario, ten percent remain unsure.

Kennedy sure looks like the ultimate op. No better way to trick MAGA into throwing away a vote.

After the Kalifornia primary was “adjusted”, Sanders took the hint.
RFK Jr seems to be deaf.
I would expect that the more RFK Jr is introduced to democrat voters who are disgusted with biden, the more support RFK Jr will garner.
Keep in mind, the liberal media has censored RFK and I would assume many democrat voters don’t even know he’s running. Many senior citizens are still JFK supporters rather than progressive.
I fully expect this independent run will benefit Trump.

So RFK Jr. takes 6 points from Trump and 7 points from Biden...not much of a difference and we are 13 months away from the election. The Democrats may still find a way to replace Biden with someone with fewer negatives.
..... In order for Trump to win .... He will need almost Every One of us dysfunctional Conservatives/Republicans, Including Never Trumpers, to get out and vote and all vote only for him .... Along with a Large chunk of Independents and any disillusioned Democrats et-al to actually seal the deal.
.... The number to beat will be At Least around 82 Million votes. So Unfortunately ... With Kennedy running as an Independant, he will more than likely siphon off a lot of the Independent voters as well as any disillusioned Democrats that may be sitting on the fence.
.... As evidenced by the Last Presidential and Mid-Term Elections ..... It's probably in our best interest to ignore these Stupid Polls and start unifying together as an actual team to get across the finish line .... Rather than maintaining our usual dysfunctional petty bickering and self destruction. To do any less could very well mean the end of our Constitutional Republic.

Agreed. If we are wrong, something awful will happen to him or his family that will prevent him from hurting whoever the D nominee is.
Unless the R nominee is Haley, Pence, Hutchison or Christie. In which case, the security state really doesn’t care.
Nope. What it will do is give the Dems more cover for their cheating mechanisms by providing a “reasonable” explanation for Trump votes falling short.
I could not find the partisan mix for this poll.
Note very carefully, people, that Independents are generally outnumbering the two parties. This is very Trump positive because the big popular vote margin is limited to Calif and NY. In 2020 Biden logged 7 million more votes and 5M of those were in Calif and heavily Dem.
The danger here is Kennedy would be, in fact, Independent. That will attract the attention of the largest voting segment, Independents.
Independents are erroneously evaluated as in someway profoundly moderate and middle of the road types. This is wrong. They feel strongly about issues the GOPe and DEMe do not want focused on — namely the Swamp. It was Independents who won Trump the presidency in 2016, because he was the only candidate focused on the Swamp.
The also rans talk about returning to traditional Conservative values — which in their minds excludes populism (the rejection of elitism). The last thing they want is excluding elitism, because they fancy themselves as elites.
Traditional Conservative values are pretty simple. Reduce government influence in every day life. The Swamp is that influence. That makes the also rans non Conservative. They stomp their feet about “getting things done.” That’s not conservatism. Conservatism is NOT getting things done.
Which is it? I’m thinking it’ll hurt Biden more. I doubt there are many that will vote for RFK that were thinking of holding their noses and voting for Pres Trump over Biden.

I guess the one thing we can learn from this is - POLLS ARE USELESS!!!
This poll is moot, because it doesn’t include all of the candidates from minor political parties and any other possible Independent candidates for POTUS of which we don’t know who they are yet.
This is more what I believe will occur. Biden gets hurt more.

Yup. But I tend to believe this one. RFK Jr is a left winger. No real conservative is going to vote for his positions and they are scary.

I think this is a trick - I’ll wait for the Richard Baris poll - he thinks this will split up the populist independents vote that would have otherwise gone to Trump.
