Heart be still, there are signs Democrats are finally getting the message that voters are sick to death of crime. Make that some Democrats.

Chicago will still have a Democrat mayor. Just as they have had for damn near a century.
Chicago hasn't elected a Republican mayor since the 1930s.
Paul Vallas is probably as good as they're going to get but don't be surprised if Chicago elects Brandon Johnson, who ran to the left of Lightfoot.
I don't care anymore. These voters are going to continue doing the same thing while expecting different results. Chicago is dead. The corporate headquarters and investment firms that made it a powerhouse are all leaving or have left and they're not coming back no matter who Chicagoans elect.
They can find another Lightfoot next to any dumpster in Chicago.
I hadn’t heard big business is leaving Chicago like California. I find that great news. Hopefully even more leave both places.
