Pillow tycoon turned conspiracy theorist Mike Lindell raged against Florida governor Ron DeSantis at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday, calling the popular conservative a “Trojan Horse.”
“Now I’ll tell you what Ron DeSantis — and he’s got money behind him — did he do anything for Disney? Remember that was the big thing, you’re gonna go after Disney,” began Lindell. “He did nothing, they got everything they wanted, everything — look it up!”
“The media is covering up for Ron DeSantis. He is a Trojan Horse, he is the Trojan Horse,” shouted Lindell on the convention center floor. “Do not believe anything you’re reading by the media about ‘Ron DeSantis'” warned Lindell, indicating that air quotes belonged around the governor’s name with his fingers.

Find some proof that DeSantis ever said those things, or admit it’s a lie to keep putting up posts claiming that he did, after already being called on it. How were you even confused? Your denial to see Trump as anything but your chosen idol is as deep as anyone I’ve seen, which is saying a lot. MAX level.

Paul is like Pat Buchanan. In that he is probably the most true conservative on the field with an absolute dedication to the cause.
Yet when he runs in the primaries he will get probably get 4% or something of the vote, like Buchanan. Go back and read Buchanan’s Death of the West. He is nearly a prophet in that work, he called for the coming immigration crisis, demographic change, drift to extremism, moral decay etc. Deep state doesn’t really want a true conservative, neocons are allowed which is why they turned on Trump with such hatred. They thought he was going to be a neo-con but he turned out to be a populist.
I would vote for Paul in a second.

There are two factions at play in that party, and the one that aligns closest to us here at FR, is the weaker, smaller one.
Democrats have 2 or three factions, but when push comes to shove they all fall in line under the main heads.

What did I claim about DeSantis, other than him weaseling out of answering questions about finishing his term? Almost forgot: I did mention he had many RINO (i.e., crony-capitalist) endorsements, but not in this thread.
I do believe DeSantis will make a “good” establishment candidate. He is after all, a Harvard-educated lawyer, and should get along well with the insiders. :)

I have not denied any of Trump’s accomplishments. In fact I witnessed four years of positive accomplishments, despite him being hounded by the establishment and falsely accused of everything under the sun, except perhaps crucifying Christ. He is the best president in my 70+ years on this earth — by far!
