Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul called out Nancy Pelosi's daughter and wished the House speaker's husband a "speedy recovery" after an early morning assault at their San Francisco home left him hospitalized.
"No one deserves to be assaulted," the Republican lawmaker wrote on Twitter Friday morning. "Unlike Nancy Pelosi's daughter who celebrated my assault, I condemn this attack and wish Mr. Pelosi a speedy recovery."
His comments were in response to a March 2020 tweet that said Twitter removed comments made by Nancy Pelosi's daughter, who appeared to endorse a 2017 assault on Paul, in which he was attacked by his next-door neighbor and sustained broken ribs and bruises to his lungs.
The March 2020 tweet included a screenshot of a tweet from a Christine Pelosi tweet, which said "Rand Paul's neighbor was right."
Early Friday morning, someone broke into Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home and "violently assaulted" her husband.
The House speaker was not home at the time of the incident, and her husband, Paul, is expected to make a full recovery after he was taken to a local hospital.

Rand will be condemned for this but he is absolutely right
Glad he had the stones to remind everyone of Pelosi’s daughter’s reaction when he was assaulted
Not many Congressmen would
Dems are fund raising off this.
>>”No one deserves to be assaulted,” the Republican lawmaker wrote on Twitter Friday morning<<
Some of us are assaulted by common criminals, others are assaulted in the morning by the FBI.
.
Rand Paul is a cut above so many of the GOP wimps.
And I think they should all repeat the Dems mantra - I’m sure the man was concerned about how he was going to feed his family.
I can assure you, the whole truth won’t be out until Nancy retires
.
I wonder if his attacker was an illegal alien ?
I’m sure if he was we’ll never find out.
Did the intruder wear a MAGA cap or indicate that he was a Trump supporter?
Will there be an Oct. 27 Commission to investigate this?
Rand Paul is a human being.

To much assault is bad for your blood pressure.
There’s so many homeless crazies in SF now, who knows if it could have been one of those. In fact, I hope it was. The Pelosis deserve to get violated by the things they uphold. Too bad the witch was out, she needs to have a come to Jesus moment too.
I was just reading this, with some info about the whackadoodle attacker: https://heavy.com/news/david-depape/
From the article:
‘Dramatic accounts emerged indicating that the suspect was specifically looking for Nancy Pelosi when he encountered her husband in the couple’s home.
“Suspect who authorities say attacked Paul Pelosi shouted ‘Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?’ before the ‘violent assault,’” according to CNN anchor Victor Blackwell. The suspect specifically targeted the Pelosi house, the Associated Press confirmed.’

Anyway, I agree with Senator Paul that we shouldn’t wish harm or celebrate harm on anyone. You don’t have to like someone, but acting like it’s a great thing when an old guy gets attacked in his home by a freak is.....let’s say it’s bad luck. None of us is the ultimate arbiter of justice.
Even if someone is my worst enemy, I don’t wish harm on that person - although I will make remarks about rusty fishing knives and 9mm semiautomatic pistols for anyone who expresses that s/he wishes harm on me. Just as a deterrent. I mean, if someone actually attacks me, then I’ll defend myself. But if he’s just an a$$hole - like Mr Pelosi - I simply want him out of my life. If he’s a really bad person, I pray for him to face Justice, to repent, to be made sorry.
I’ve seen people that I hated and had grudges against have really terrible things happen to them. It doesn’t make me feel good; I end up feeling kinda like, “Wow, I didn’t hate him THAT much!”
Not yet, but I’m sure the FBI is “explaining” to him how it would be beneficial to his health if he were to say that he is.
An assault of their own making. With Paul’s stakeholding Meta alone, the assailant, albeit wrongheaded in what he did and how he went about it violently, knew what he was doing.
How could her house not have security?????
This doesn’t smell right.
News Report said he “pushed the button” which I figure was a silent alarm that alerts police.
Which is I imagine is why the police arrived while the attack was still going on.
