Planned concerts in Poland by Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters have been cancelled amid outrage over the musician's stance on the Ukraine war.
The concert's promoter, Live Nation Poland, confirmed the cancellation but gave no reason for it.
The controversy was triggered by an open letter Waters wrote to Ukraine's first lady, Olena Zelenska.
In it, he said, "extreme nationalists" in Ukraine "have set your country on the path to this disastrous war".
He accused her husband, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, of failing to fulfil his election campaign promises to bring peace to the Donbas region and and made no mention of Russia's responsibility for the war.

The war in Ukraine wouldn't have occurred if Zelensky had kept his promise and not caved to neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists, who were hellbent on exterminating ethnic Russian population and if the Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed, was implemented>
As far as Israel goes, the Israelis have spoken and condemned monuments being built and streets being named in Ukraine after Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera. Ukraine doesn't resemble a democracy or free country and is the epicenter of neo-Nazism in the world. It's not worth a single tax dollar or the sanctions fueling inflation in the western world. It only matters to the political elite, oligarchs and defense industry, which have sucked big $$$ out of Ukraine.
Love his music, hate his politics.
Even if they can only find one embarrassing comment that that person uttered when they were young and drunk, a comment that they have repeatedly disowned, that will be used to take them down.
I'm not supporting Waters' comment, but we used to be able to say that we would fight to the death to allow him to say it.
Now we are just "informed consumers" and will boycott his livelihood until he stops saying the things the WEF/WTO/WHO/UN/EU doesn't want him to say.

The case is pretty different regarding this one specific case. Poland accepted few million war refugees from Ukraine. These people told Polish citizens about the atrocities done by Russian soldiers and why they had to flee their homes. Polish people know very well what Russian occupation means and would rather tell Mr Superstar to go f**k himself with his simetristic point of view. This just proves your point really, Polish people were not told by MSM or the governmemt what to do or think. Majority of the support to Ukraine coming in the first month or two since the war started was an organised effort of the civilians, not an organised effort sponsored by the gov.
