Entirely possible with a good Volcanic eruption that put ash in the sky for a couple years and deflects a lot of the sunlight

Before moving to North Texas 25+ years ago, I lived in El Paso. Weather was awesome, it would start cooling down when the sun went down.

When we had a training exercise in the desert, we always brought our field jackets, as the temps often dipped into the 60s at night.

Up here in North Texas, the temps will stay above 90 until 1-2 AM.

And don’t forget it also mentions that the beast kingdom will be in darkness. So good luck using solar and wind.

Wonder what wind speed is necessary to turn those 50 meter blades?

They have tried too hard to get over the WW 2 debacle.

You know, I was wondering the same thing. I think the “wind calm” status is less than a couple knots or maybe three max. That’s probably not going to spin those blades. I’d bet there are some high-dollar bearings on those things.

Try “wind still”.

They are expensive, unsightly, and they kill birds.

Only a Tele-Tubby could love a wind farm.
