I will LMFAO watching Europe freeze and starve this winter.

Does that make me bad?

Agree. The shock of it hitting now will at least give some a few months to make plans for when cold weather hits. Granted the majority are blind as a bat about it but there will be some to use the coming months to prepare best they can. It’s a sh-t show all the way around.

I have wondered, but cannot find the answer to when do all the European gas contracts expire. I know it is the end of the year for Poland and Bulgaria, but don’t know about the others.

Putin has always been good about contracts; but once they are up if there is a way he can extract his pound of flesh without it financially hurting Russia, he is likely to do that.

Not to worry. Euros’ favorite idiot will issue an Executive Order requiring all American natural gas resources be liquefied and put at the disposal of the EU. “the price we all must pay for the New Liberal World Order.”

Rationing in the US will begin November 9, following the next election. Don’t complain, it is just a transition, part of Building Back a Better and sustainable America, and protecting Democracy here and abroad.

“It is in Russia’s national interest to show no quarter.”

“no quarter” means you’re okay with Russia slaughtering everyone? Because that’s what this means.

If so, then don’t whine about it when Russians get treated the same way they treat everyone else.

History has shown that ANY country that trusts Russia / USSR is in for bad things

maybe this will finally teach the Euros not to trust Russia anymore, and get their gas from more reliable sources elsewhere

hint - “LNG”

The Ukies can bomb the pipeline with HIMARs missiles.

Just tell them there are civilians next to the pipeline.

Despite scrambling to diversify its supply since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, Germany is still reliant on Russia for about 35% of its supplies, while France gets 17% of its gas from Russia.

NATO bigs who trusted Biden are fools.

Up until this year there was never ending blather from EU politicans and the press about wind power and solar energy replacing coal and nuclear. Haven’t heard a peep after it became apparent that Europe, and Germany in particular, were actually replacing coal and nuclear with Russian natural gas.

If you have liberal friends, might ask them why solar and wind power haven’t stepped up to fill the gap left by the shutdown of Russian gas? You might also remind them Trump was right in warning Europe about becoming dependent on Russian gas (and also remind them that Trump sanctions on Russian gas were lifted by Biden).

If so, then don’t whine about it when Russians get treated the same way they treat everyone else.

It was the US who stuck its beak in the fight and put the economic sanctions on Russia

Now we're whining because the Russians just opened up their own toolbox?

When I was growing up I had to share a small bedroom with my brother. I am well aware of the horrors of “gas nightmares”!

“President Trump told them they were fools to trust or depend upon Russia. They didn’t listen.”

You would like this to be just a European problem.

You do not want to be found out as supporting higher energy and food prices in the US.

Because you are a neocon who hates Americans as much as you hate Russians...but hope to keep that fact out of the public sphere.

Gas is a global commodity. Your political position harms every American. Some greatly.

Russia had no right to invade Ukraine and seize Crimea and the oil and gas producing lands.

They started this when they went to war in 2014.

“It is in Russia’s national interest to show no quarter.”

If you could read it would be no issue knowing what the above “means”.

But you are a neocon, therefore too stupid to comprehend what you read.

Russia might demand Nord Stream II to open now. Open new contracts with Germany. Otherwise, why bother? EU said that they wanted to wean off Russian oil. Might as well as go cold turkey. Europeans are stupid.

At least we have oil here in USA (and Canada). Not the case in the EU.
