Fraught with massive inflation, soaring crime, and an invasion on the southern border, the DNC has displaced blame from the president onto the GOP, accusing them of standing in the way of progress.

I used to say that when times are good they can get people to vote based on issues that don't really matter to them. Transgender rights and free birth control seem interesting to some voters when their bellies are full and gas is cheap. Some have said 'you keep saying that but it never stops working'. Well times have never been like this in the past 50 years. So here we are.

The only issue is whether it's too late already or do votes still matter. After 2020 it's a legit question. The secondary issue is whether the GOP is actually any better, which is definitely debatable as well.
