Despite the control tactics that Tony Fauci is obsessed with perpetuating with every new covid variant that emerges, reportedly less lethal than the last, one unlikely leader has started seeing the light. It appears that the “my body, my choice” mantra is resurfacing again when it comes to being vaccinated or not, as the governor of one of the most liberal states in the nation decides that the Covid Emergency is over and people can decide for themselves what they want to do with what they put in their bodies. According to him, if the unvaccinated decide to get sick, it’s their own fault, as they have had enough time to do so and now it’s time to move past it. Finally.
Colorado Governor Jared Polis has been a champion of controlling his state with Covid lockdowns, mask mandates, and more to ‘flatten the curve’ for about a year and a half now. After his state was among the first to have a case of the new Omicron variant, he went in an unexpected direction — going against the narrative and even Anthony Fauci. His surprise move proved that Covid and the new (and future variants) are never ending and not a reason for shutting down the state and citizen’s freedoms.
Republic Brief is the first to report this, other than Fox News, when all major and local Colorado news outlets have surprisingly not reported this impactful announcement from Governor Jared Polis, where he said in an interview on Friday with Colorado Public Radio that the “Covid-19 emergency is over.” A statement that echoes that exactly of what Dr. Naomi Wolf said on Steve Bannon’s War Room on Friday, the same day of Polis’ interview with a local CO radio station…
That’s a major declaration affecting the lives of Coloradans, as have all declarations regarding Covid mandates, restrictions, etc before; but this anti-narrative announcement has gone not-so-surprisingly unnoticed.

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis, a Democrat, declared in a new interview that the COVID-19 emergency is “over” and that he won’t be implementing another statewide mask mandate in response to the spread of the omicron variant, explaining that if people aren’t vaccinated at this point it’s their “own darn fault” if they get sick.
“Everybody had more than enough opportunity to get vaccinated,” Polis told Colorado Public Radio on Friday. “Hopefully it’s been at your pharmacy, your grocery store, a bus near you, [or at] big events. At this point, if you haven’t been vaccinated, it’s really your own darn fault.”
“Those who get sick, it’s almost entirely their own darn fault,” he continued. “I don’t want to say that nobody [will get the virus if they’re] vaccinated, but it’s very rare. Just to put it in perspective, of the about 1400 people hospitalized, less than 200 (or 16 percent) are vaccinated. And many of them are older or have other conditions. Eighty-four percent of the people in our hospitals are unvaccinated, and they absolutely had every chance to get vaccinated.”
“And at this point, I think it’s almost like they made a deliberate decision not to get vaccinated,” he added. “I still encourage everybody who hasn’t been vaccinated to get protected. And for those who are, make sure to get that booster after six months. The data shows it’s important and very likely even more so with this omicron variant.”
Polis said he supported local jurisdictions instituting their own mandates according to their individual needs, but that the state should stay out of it.
“The emergency is over,” he said. “You know, public health [officials] don’t get to tell people what to wear; that’s just not their job. Public health [officials] would say to always wear a mask because it decreases flu and decreases [other airborne illnesses]. But that’s not something that you require; you don’t tell people what to wear. You don’t tell people to wear a jacket when they go out in winter and force them to [wear it]. If they get frostbite, it’s their own darn fault.
“If you haven’t been vaccinated, that’s your choice. I respect that. But it’s your fault when you’re in the hospital with COVID,” he added.
Polis lamented that there is an “alternate misinformation universe” contributing to people not getting vaccinated.

How many untrue statements here? I’m counting at least 6.
Many that got the VAX caught the 19...all survived. Many of them were kinda flaunting the fact they had the VAX and thought they were immune...
I've had the 19...but never took a test. I know I've had it....

dems have a tenuous hold on the colorado legislature and polis is apparently no dummy and can read the tea-leaves, plus he apparently isn’t buying the National Socialist Democrat Party covid insanity hook line and sinker, and thereby be willing to continue to sacrifice the colorado economy on the alter of covid insanity ...
interestingly enough, this means that those handful of Colorado counties whose health departments have recently issued so-called mask “mandates” have zero ability to enforce said “orders” without the Gov’s emergency order, though all of the local media go along and lie about the pretend “mandates” and most of the sheeple dutifully wear the face diapers “mandated” by their fascist masters in said counties ...
the country “orders” apply to businesses and not the customers, AND the actual order for Boulder County says businesses “SHOULD” require masks in instead of “MUST” require masks, so there’s actually no “mandate” at all ...
my family knows it’s not enforceable, because we go maskless everywhere except for medical offices that have their own requirements, and no one says boo turkey to us ...
