Bob Dole wasn’t my favorite politician (not Conservative enough for me), but he ALWAYS had a great sense of humor. RIP Bob.

Where is the letter? This is just a crappy person reading it.
That is a violations of the U. S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 5:
Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business; but a smaller Number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the Attendance of absent Members, in such Manner, and under such Penalties as each House may provide.
I called Dole's office about this and was told that "Senate rules supersede the Consitution". Congress now conducts business in violation of this section all of the time. The "rule" assumes a quorum is always present unless a member calls for a quorum.
It would be nice if someone would just publish the text of the actual letter. I can’t find it.
