A man whom Texas GOP gubernatorial candidate Allen West admitted to pulling down his mask at an airport during an altercation has said that he wishes to press charges as he claims his face covering was "violently" torn off, according to a Dallas Morning News report.
Lawrence Eric Stern told the outlet that a detective at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport had informed him that his case had been placed before the Grapevine Municipal Court.
According to the DFW Airport police's report, Stern was in the airport on Nov. 3 when he spotted West walking through the facility maskless, reports Dallas Morning News. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has made masking mandatory for anyone in airports across the United States through at least January 18, 2022.

It was a time when, if you mouthed off to someone, and you got hit in the mouth, you understood the whole cause-and-effect correlation.
Simple assault is the violation of one’s personal space without consent that does not result in physical harm. ...
If the guy got that close to West screaming and yelling that was assault in his part and West may be in his right to respond by flicking his mask and can file charges back on him

If you've been offended to the point that you must have a public trial, and if you have "extra money" just lying about and, having nothing else to do, you have lots of "idle time" to indulge in this form of entertainment, put your mask on, get your latest booster needle and go for it. Your "15 minutes" has just about run out ... and besides, no one cares that you're "offended."
It's very difficult to believe that West assaulted Sterns without provocation.
Only a liberal news-person would assume that West was the provocateur and guilty. Read the article. You saying that West committed assault is your opinion based on the accuser's story and doesn't take into account West's version. Who ya gonna believe? I believe West.
Note that the US government has defined “personal space” as being within a 3-foot radius of the person (6-foot spacing per COVID).

It will be interesting to see what law enforcement considers a crime. Especially since Alec Baldwin hasn’t yet been charged with a crime for killing someone, and the blm/antifa rioters are still free, and hillary is not in jail.

Consider that the man barking at West had to have been within arm’s reach, which means he is a threat.
