It’s been over a week since we’ve heard from a family friend who’s in theater. His wife is beside herself.
They could take out a few loaded planes with little repercussions, and the White House would just deflect. .......................... And maybe give them 150B on a palate to get our folks out. Maybe we could also release all the Gitmo folks too while we are at it.

They surrendered Bahgram air base before the evacuation “plan” was implemented. So there is no place to deploy and no place to evacuate the Americans stuck in Kabul. The Taliban control everyone coming in or leaving.
You can’t describe this mess without using the word “cluster”.
The entire Biden Administration needs to resign.

Im sure all the media experts who had a meltdown about taking forces out of Syria have come unglued now about Afghanistan. I don’t have cable TV to see the reports.
