President Joe Biden’s administration has awarded a taxpayer-funded contract to pay for hotel rooms for border crossers arriving at the United States-Mexico border.
An Axios report reveals that Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will pay a Texas-based nonprofit to provide $86 million worth of hotel rooms for six months for approximately 1,200 families who cross the southern border. DHS confirmed the arrangement.
The hotel rooms, according to Axios, will be in Arizona and Texas near the southern border and will serve as welcoming centers for border crossers whom the Biden administration is hoping to quickly release into the U.S. interior.

Our country officially sucks.
I wonder what happened to breitbart
Biden is not spending anything. He is using our tax revenue money.
This will only be the tip of the iceberg. How will 86 million be close to enough?
Does that include room service and cable?
I bet it isn’t at Trump resort.
Together we will drive the final nails in America’s coffin!
Biden and Camel will do it, truer words were seldom spoken and no one to stop them. Its a damn shame for the US to end up this way. But radical socialism with a touch of communism added will do it each and every time.
Do you think now that dems will finally admit the Biden admin. encourages people to cross illegallY? Thought not.
Comes out to $11,944 and change per room for each month.
Might be Cheaper staying at the Ritz-Carlton....
Suppose beto’s wife’s family owns some of the hotels?
We are being forced to pay for our own demise.
Probably.
The ‘non-profit’ group needs to be investigated. As legendary El Rushbo liked to say: Run the numbers. I did that works out to $398 a night. Someone is making a lot of money off this.
“This is completely unconstitutional and unacceptable.”
1) Who is going to sue and what federal court will rule against the administration?
2) Did the leaders of the GOP in the House and Senate hold a press conference on the steps of the barb wire surrounded Capitol to protest the action and perhaps point out the barbed wire around the Capitol and the fact American citizens are being jailed for entering the Capitol while foreigners are illegally invading the nation and having their lodging paid for when they arrive?
3) What non-profit was selected to benefit from this boondoggle and how much of the $86 million will be soaked up by the non-profit in administrative fees? Which leads us to why a government bureaucrat couldn’t simply call the major hotel chains and contract directly, eliminating the middleman?
4) Has the non-profit contributed to the Democrat party or its candidates in the past?
The silence of the GOP at each successive outrage is deafening.
I wonder what happened to all those FEMA trailers that were purchased to house people displaced due to Katrina?
Did Biden’s brother or Hunter purchase stock in Motel 6 or Econolodge?
This is going to increase exponentially, until the Federal Government opens up closed Army and Air Force bases and makes internment camps out of them. They may even acquire whole towns and turn them into camps also. A million or more “refugees” will enter the US this year alone.
Then the flood will increase, and it is anybody’s guess what they will do then. I have a feeling that with all the insane idiotic policies we are about to see implemented, as in Green New Deal, many more and more devastating problems will be dominating our attention. Like recession, inflation, and economic collapse. Good luck after that.
