Last week, all the living former U.S. presidents, Democratic and Republican, joined together for an ad campaign touting the safety and effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccines — except Donald Trump.
At the same time, a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll found that a full 50 percent of unvaccinated 2020 Trump voters now say they will “never” get vaccinated for COVID-19, up 6 percent from last month.
According to the survey of 1,629 U.S. adults, which was conducted March 4-8, no other unvaccinated group is nearly as likely to say they will “never” get inoculated: not Biden supporters (8 percent), not Black Americans (33 percent) and not Hispanic Americans (22 percent), all of whom have moved in the opposite direction and become less hesitant over time.
Asked Monday if President Biden “want[s] to see President Trump” — who is also the only president who chose to keep his own vaccination private — help persuade his supporters by getting “involved in this messaging,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki did not mince words.
“Well, if former President Trump woke up tomorrow and wanted to be more vocal about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine, certainly we’d support that,” Psaki said. “Every other living former president ... has participated in public campaigns. They did not need an engraved invitation to do so.”

Did they even invite him? AFAIK he's been cancelled. Can't even tweet out to his 90 million followers. He did promote the vaccine at the CPAC convention but the media won't air that clip. So how is he supposed to reach his audience? They don't care, they just want any and all reasons to bash him even though he couldn't reach his audience if he wanted to.
Besides which, the people who refuse the vaccine aren't going to run out to get one because Trump says so.
Looks to me like they are trying to get us vaccinated or else. More and more pushing a mandated vaccine. imo
I don’t know how much more vocal President Trump could be. In December, he called the vaccines a medical miracle, stated they had passed the gold standard of safety testing, and said they would save lives and end the pandemic.
At CPAC, he outright said “go get your shot!”
The statement he released most recently discussed his Operation Warp Speed campaign and success, and about the credit he so richly deserves for making these vaccines available to the American people months or even years earlier than they would have been, and how many lives that’s saving.
The guy’s been pretty darn vocal about people getting the shots he helped bring to market. If some people just refuse - for whatever reason - then President Trump continuing to make even more statements supporting COVID-19 vaccination probably isn’t going to make any difference.
If Trump came out and endorsed the vaccine, the libs would refuse to take it. All the sheep have gotten in line.
It takes a mind to change a mind.

It’s going to be required. That is inevitable. Just like a Yellow Fever vaccination is required to many parts of sub saharan Africa, covid will be required for travel most anywhere. That will probably include airline travel within the united states.
I’ll hold out until it is required - probably by year end - and by that time the riskiest ones will have been identified.
President Trump is the only reason the plannedemic was unleashed, and not by him. He encouraged the use of a known treatment that works and was smeared continously for it. India still uses it because it works. President Trump hectored pharma to get the vaccine ready and his efforts were slammed by Phony Fauci. And a couple weeks ago he encouraged all to get vaccinated.
Novavax seems to be OK, it gives no genetic instructions to your immune system and works the same way flu vaccine does.
Otherwise, count me a no vaxxer. No mRNA, or DNA experimental crap will go into my veins....period.

The socialism method in these situations is obvious. At first, are the volunteers, next are the willing. After this will be scare campaigns for non-compliance. Emotional appeals will be made with appeals “for your own good” or “for the greater good”. There will also be restrictions placed on the remaining who refuse to comply. Finally, those left will be rounded up and jailed where they will either be forced to comply or simply made to disappear.
