How bad was the incident?
I have been bitten to the point of drawing blood, but I never threw a fit over it.

They only said that the person bitten was a member of security and didn’t say anything about the injury other than “minor injury.”
An unnamed source at the White House has indicated that Alsatian of President Biden, "Major" was taken to a veterinary for euthanization.
The Liberal Fascist Presidential Committee headed by Susan Rice had no comment when questioned on the matter.
You aren't a secret service agent (which is what I think all white house security is). That said, these dogs were put in a situation that was/is difficult for them. Jill said in an interview that she wanted them to have free rein of the entire white house, but, unfortunately, that includes a lot of people, strangers to the dogs. Heck, he may have just being trying to "herd" the secret service. Seriously, though, I believe that Major was trained by the same trainer as Champ and don't think he has been mistreated - shepherds just are not wired to be in some situations, and it sounds as if that is one of them.
I've crated my shepherds when a workman or delivery person comes in the house and not because they are mean or unbalanced dogs. It would have been kinder had the WH dogs just had the free rein of the family living quarters perhaps.
Maybe the dog can sniff out drugs and smelled something on Hunter..if this had happened during the Trump presidency the commie media would say that Trump is a bad dog owner..notice none of that with Dementia Joe, who probably doesn’t even know he has a dog

So what’s the big deal? It just displays we have, at least, two confused dogs in the white house. And who do you think is supporting them? At least one tried to supplement his appetite with something other than tax supplied food cutting expenses. Wish Major had been on the ballot during their primaries. It appears when Trump left the white house Major’s the only one there with any intelligence and concern for the country.

So they introduced Major to the press corps, and he instantly figured out what they were.You apparently are or were a dog owner/lover. They do indeed sense good and bad people instantly.
How long before he turns on his owner?

They must have determined that the person who was bitten was a Trump supporter so Major is forgiven.
I understand and even partially agree, but if its going to blow I pray it is very soon. I don’t want my children to get stuck cleaning up the mess any more than they already are so my fear is that they will somehow keep this economic tachycardia going for another decade.
Its another “bubble” and the longer it inflates the bigger the explosion when it pops. The world has never seen anything like it and since everyone is tied to the dollar one way or another it will be apocalyptic.
