White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed Tuesday reports the First Family’s dog “Major” attacked an “unfamiliar person” but reassured Americans the dog would not be euthanized.
“Major Biden is a member of the family, so I can assure you that,” Psaki said to a reporter who asked if she could assure that the dog would not be euthanized.

Not sure I agree. My wife took in a stray pup, and we had no trouble with house breaking it, or with basic obedience. However, it looked to be part pit bull, and at times, especially around other dogs, it would get a glassy stare, and then just snap. We were considering putting it down, but it died of a heatstroke. Apparently, its heart was too small for its body mass, and couldn’t tolerate the hot summer weather.

My girl does except she will not go downstairs. Never has been, doesn’t want to. When my old guy was alive, we had to gate off the steps since he would follow me down and couldn’t climb back up and 103 pounds was a bit much to try to carry up.
Both of Biden’s dogs were sheltered before the Biden family took them.

Sadly, my Rotten Shepherd is racist. Normally she's a lovable 95 pound bundle of love, but she does not like Sikhs, i.e. men who wear turbans. We have a few in our neighborhood. LOL, I have no idea why she reacts that way.
She's wonderful around kids, loves my grandson and granddaughter.

Biden selected the dog from a kennel in East Coventry, earlier this month. The dog is being trained by New Castle County Police Cpl. Mark Tobin, who owns a dog obedience school.
Biden took some heat from animal rights activists for buying Champ from a breeder. He is planning to adopt a second pooch that will come from an animal shelter.
The FBI has investigated and determined there was no intent.
Yep, was he attacked by the dog and lied about tripping over him or did he abuse the dog and the dog fought back?

Lol, Good one. But I think he may be considering appointing Major as Secretary of Defense because his handlers (Biden’s not Major’s) told him his dog’s name was “Major” and military experience holds great weight with him in filling the slot.
It’s a good thing that dog didn’t have evidence incriminating Hillary.
