Trump Team Slaps Arizona SOS with a Lawsuit Over Rejected Ballots

The Republican National Committee and Trump campaign on Saturday announced a new lawsuit filed in Arizona over allegations that Maricopa County "incorrectly rejected votes cast by in-person voters on Election Day."

According to the lawsuit, the tabulation machine alerted voters to "facial irregularities in their ballot" and specifically mentions "ink 'bleeds,' splotches, stray marks" as the cause for ballots to be considered "spoiled."

Instead of allowing voters to correct the issue, poll workers allegedly pressed voters to click a green button to override the vote. The override allegedly disregarded the person's selections.

“Poll workers struggled to operate the new voting machines in Maricopa County, and improperly pressed and told voters to press a green button to override significant errors,” Matt Morgan, Trump 2020 campaign general counsel, said in a statement. “The result is that the voting machines disregarded votes cast by voters in person on Election Day in Maricopa County.”

The Trump campaign said they have collected declarations from voters who witnessed the problem and believe this was a widespread, large scale issue throughout Maricopa County, the state's largest county.

Both the RNC and the Trump campaign are asking for a review of the overvotes, which they say could be critical in the outcome of the presidential election.

"Arizona law requires that putative overvotes be subjected to further review in an effort to discern the actual intent of the voter," the lawsuit stated. "While this safeguard was afforded to putative overvotes cast on early ballots and on Election Day ballots that poll workers properly segregated in a separate repository, potentially thousands of voters across Maricopa County have been disenfranchised by systematic improper tabulator overrides."

Maricopa is as bad with election fraud as Philidelphia, so poll workers didn’t make “mistakes.”

What happened is that the voters were given sharpies to fill out their ballot. The voting instructions clearly say not to use a sharpie as the ink will bleed through causing a “blotch”. When the machine sees this, it flags the ballot. The poll worker was to instruct the voter to press the button to override the “flag” and let the ballot count. Instead, the “button” canceled the ballot and vote did not count. This has been pointed out a few days ago (Sharpiegate) and looks like the lawsuit has finally arrived - they need people to sign affidavits to claim it happened.

When I’ve voted, I was always given a ballpoint pen with black ink to use.

Based on TV interviews I’ve seen, there are apparently MANY voters in Arizona who say they voted in person, but when they check the state website it says their votes were never received...

For some reason, voters were give sharpies which leached thru the ballot (two sided ballot)
The machines were often confused, recording “overvotes”
Generally the voter has an option to get new ballot or disregard the overvote (vote in that particular position will be canceled). Since there were so many overvotes, voters were sort of asked to cancel the overvote, not get new ballot.
Tons of ballots were affected, but I am not sure how many in the “presidential” position. I saw mostly the Judges of AZ supreme court!
Anyway, this is major embarrassment for the election authority and the ballots should be counted manually.

I think this is actually worse than the sharpiegate. We observed many problems with the registration system. Many voters were rejected as not registered, even as they sweared to be registered! Some even log into the info registration system and showed there that they were registered. Yet they were refused by the system.
Some voted provisionally, some walked away!

I was given a sharpie in Pima County. But our ballots went into a box. I checked my ballot twice - didn’t see any bleed through. But I’ve heard the paper used varied with the voting location.

Interesting. I’m in Florida and my wife has had a couple of friends tell her that their children’s votes were stolen. They were both 18 and really looking forward to placing their first votes for Trump; however, when they reported to thief precincts, they were both informed that they had already voted via mail.

There is a special place in hell for these Democrat thieves!

So is anyone still counting? Or did it stop after the media’s proclamation?
