Comedian Chris Rock will tell you that the "pandemic crowds" are the best kinds of audiences.
Dude, not only do we want to be here, there is nothing else to do," Rock explained to the New York Times in a recent interview. "Theres nothing else to watch. Thank you.
And so he found himself in front of one of these enthusiastic pandemic crowds when he performed a gig at one of Dave Chappelle's live shows in July. As he explained to the Times, his set focused mainly on American politics. And conservatives are eating up Rock's message for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
"I talked about our political whatever. America. Part of the reason were in the predicament were in is, the presidents a landlord. No one has less compassion for humans than a landlord. [Laughs.] And were shocked hes not engaged.
Did you ever see that movie The Last Emperor, where like a 5-year-old is the emperor of China? Theres a kid and hes the king. So Im like, its all the Democrats fault. Because you knew that the emperor was 5 years old. And when the emperors 5 years old, they only lead in theory. Theres usually an adult whos like, OK, this is what were really going to do. And it was totally up to Pelosi and the Democrats. Their thing was, Were going to get him impeached, which was never going to happen. You let the pandemic come in. Yes, we can blame Trump, but hes really the 5-year-old.
Put it this way: Republicans tell outright lies. Democrats leave out key pieces of the truth that would lead to a more nuanced argument. In a sense, its all fake news."
Some top Republicans would agree. OK, not with that last part. But the part about wasting time on a months long impeachment trial? Yeah, that part hits home. Just how much time and effort could have been dedicated to the Chinese threat if Democrats weren't still talking about that Ukraine phone call?
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell told radio host Hugh Hewitt in March that Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) was the first lawmaker to bring the virus to his attention. But because of the Democrats' tunnel vision, he argued, he was distracted.
"And it came up while we were tied down on the impeachment trial," McConnell said. "And I think it diverted the attention of the government, because everything every day was all about impeachment."
The impeachment was a huge waste of time and attention. He’s right about that. It’s not like it took the Democrat’s focus away so they couldn’t deal with the pandemic. The pandemic is a hoax.
Reasonable measures were taken early on. After a few weeks, it was evident that this was overblown. Now, we have both sides basing their arguments on the foundation of a hoax. The media and a bunch of people with agendas pounced on this thing to get the badorangeman and to implement and entrench their agendas. A lot of good people were initially taken in by it. At this point, it’s obvious that the whole thing has been blown way out of proportion in order to derail President Trump.
Nanzi and the Democaps need professional treatment for that malignant enlarged memory hole they're afflicted with.
WATTA MOTLEY CREW--Pelosi, Schiff, woebegotten impeachment managers (remember them?)

It appears that self-aggrandizement was a dominant factor in the Democrats foolhardy impeachment of Trump after all. Chairman Nadler could not have been happy when Speaker Pelosi entrusted the impeachment charade to the mendacious Adam Schiff, a position normally entrusted to Judiciary Committee Chairman.
Heck, 50,000 people died from the virus b/c Schiff did not get to make the final impeachment statement "guaranteed to ditch Trump."
Seeing Schiff and Nadler vie for the mic was a moment of inadvertently-produced levity. But it also indicated a Pander Act-----to attain a measure of notoriety within the Leftist base now controlling the Democrat Party.
Who was Pelosi rooting for? Schiff or Nadler? She's never said.....cackle.
The mic fight also demonstrates the continued delusion of the House managers ---- looking like refugees from a flopola Democrat pep rally-----who believe that if they talk everyone to death, using boring worn-out soliloquies, they would convince enough senators to vote to expand the Senate trial. Then they would get to drag this charade out even longer.
Never happened. Nanzi, where did you go wrong (sob)?
Hard to believe, House impeachment managers, actually believe that mouthing mistruths often enough, (sometimes loud, sometimes soft, sometimes with a smile, sometimes with a snarl), these mistruths magically become true. Or at least, accepted as truth by some of their braindead followers.
The objective truth, ultimately wins out. And----souvenir pens or no souvenir pens----the truth is that there simply was no there-there. There never had been.
Look at 'em pictured above......the impeachment squad did not ever want Donald J. Trump to be president. They want him off of the 2020 ballot. They are willing to do, say, and ultimately, believe anything, no matter how implausible.
They even put their faith in the doddering Counsel Robert Mueller and his gang of biased, anti-Trump prosecutors who spent years, and millions of taxpayer dollars, looking for dirt on the president.
Now we hear that extending the investigation was bait---setup as an "obstruction-of-justice trap" for Trump--- should he move to curtail the nonsense.
They were disappointed when even muttering Mueller had to acknowledge that there was no criminal conspiracy between the Russians and the Trump campaign.
Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, and their acolytes, however, believe that there is concrete evidence of a conspiracy, and that one day they may be able to produce it. Except they will never succeed for the simple reason that there was no coordination, no cooperation, no collusion, and no conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russians.
Instead of dreamily chasing after their socialist utopia, this bunch forced the entire nation into their nightmarish pursuit of revenge and disruption.
Their hidden agenda all along, after all, was to undo the 2016 election. They want to turn back time.
And, with the majority of senators seeing the best that the Democrat House managers could present, the senators have rejected an extension of this malevolent marathon of vituperation toward the president.
The woebegotten House managers have been passionate about their work. And as sincere about their motives to save the country as a Don Lemon apology.
From mid-summer 2016 and over the past three years, the deep state, Leftist media, and radical Democrats have done nothing to help this nation. Instead, they have relentlessly attacked this president, his family, his friends and business associates, his supporters, and his voters.
While the president has been improving the judiciary, the economy, our military, and American prestige at home and abroad, the vociferous malcontents in the Democratic Party have tried to undermine his efforts and the will of the American people.

Rock is a pretty smart guy and he has made decent points in the past ("How not to get your ass beat by the police") but I'd like him to give real examples of Trump being a 5-year-old. He's got darn solid achievements. It's gotten very tired to say, "Yeah, but have you seen his tweets?" I mean: who the hell cares?
Chaos, it's what they do. Now it will be ballot chaos. Forget issues, planks, persuasion, ideas, accomplishments.
Dems cant win on good ideas, skilled politics, a well-informed electorate.....they have to steal elections to get power.
Well he did write tho OI on how not to get your ass kicked
Chris had to say that, just so he could keep getting work.
RE: but I’d like him to give real examples of Trump being a 5-year-old.
Well, some friends tell me that they shake their heads at some of his tweets and name calling ( e.g. “Rosie O’Donnell is a fat pig” )
What I want to see is some famous person coming out and delivering a Conservative message (something like: “We’re suffering from a pandemic because Democrats in Congress were too focused on the impeachment”) and then add that “They told me I could say this, but they also said I had to insult President Trump. Call him a 5-year-old, or something. But I’m not gonna do that. They told me I wouldn’t get any work in the future if I didn’t insult the president. Well, we’ll see. If my career nose-dives after this, you’ll understand the power these people have. I’ve got money in the bank. I’m taking my chances.”
Chris Rock’s video is a hoot and rings true as well.
Blame Trump for what? To many goos things to list individually:

Don’t wish to take up your entire day. But, there’s more if I needed it.
At this point, I just don’t think I do to make Chris Rock and the people he is representing with this diatribe of lies to look like idiots and drag Rock down to their level.
It might surprise you Rock that there are people out here, not in your little world, that have truthful proven knowledge of what actually happened than the starved for entertainment people that listen to your bulshavik. You need to go back to New Jersey where they will buy your manure.

Piss Rock originated the McCain/POW joke that President Trump used one time and still gets criticized for. Rock's just another entertainment industry nitwit, although he has (in the past) gone after nearly everyone. Political correctness is what we now call Cancel Culture, welcome to the rodeo, ya has-been. He's probably getting geared up for a Presidential run. Too bad Everybody Hates Chris. :^)
His best video:

And even then, he still crossed the line. Expect he'll get cancelled.
The only comedy permitted today is woke, angry, and unfunny. Revolutionary comedy. I wish Americans learned more about Maoism. They'd be better able to recognize the parallels.
Chris also did a routine on the difference between “black people” and “n...ers”.
Chris Rock is not pro Trump, but for a black democrat to be criticizing democrat leadership only a few weeks before the election shows how tenuous the black support is for democrats. A lot of people could stay home.
