President Donald Trump's approval rating does not appear to have been impacted by controversy in the wake of a recent Atlantic article claiming he had repeatedly made disparaging remarks about U.S. military members.
Trump's job approval rating hit 47 percent in a Hill-HarrisX poll released Tuesday, his highest rating in the poll since June. The poll was conducted online among 2,832 registered voters from September 5 to 8. It has a margin of error of 1.84 percent.
Republicans approved of Trump by an 81 percent majority, while 19 percent disapproved. Democrats had nearly opposite ratings, with 82 percent disapproving and 18 percent approving. Most Independents disapproved of the president, 55 percent to 45 percent.

The Rassmussen Daily Tracking poll has President Trump at 52%.
Bottom line is, that nearly every poll has the President at a much higher rating at this point in his presidency than Obama had at the same point in his.
Limbaugh today reported on a poll that was of likely black Americans and the poll he cited has President Trump at 42%.
If that is accurate the election is Trump’s. This is why the media and tech companies are making it clear they will not declare a winner on Election Night or the morning after. They are stating they will not declare a winner until all Mail-in Ballots are counted and democrat disputes settled.
And, most likely even when President Trump has finally been declared the winner they will never accept that outcome.
They are gearing up for massive chaos when Trump is declared the winner. The Dems are tired of elections. If they do not win they will cause max mayhem to teach us deplorable’s a lesson. Only with Dems in control will there be peace. Don’t vote for us and we’ll make your daily lives a living hell.

Because people know BS when they read/hear it. The average US citizen has a plethora of news sources; Newsweak, you’re past your prime. And the Atlanta? Hell, you’re sooooo 20th century.
Yes. But Not so much Despite the lying article as Because of it. We are sick of the media lying and smearing. Sick sick sick.
And the Atlantic story is so last week. Because now the hot issue is the Woodward book. Look for that story to be a big topic on the Sunday shows this Sunday.
But then that will run its course, to be replaced by the latest Trump outrage, sometime next week.
Sometimes I think they have these things stacked up and scheduled to be released one at a time, for maximum benefit.
Any recordings of Trump saying something vulgar against women? If so, they have it and will release in mid-October, just as they did with the Access Hollywood tape four years ago. After the fact, we learned they had been sitting on that, waiting for the right moment to spring it on us.
I have to say, all this Atlantic piece did for me was reinforce just how much contempt they have for the average person who might read it.
They have jumped the shark.
Normal people see it and think “Oh, come on. Really?” Granted, there are people who will always bite and bite hard, but they are making it hard for the others not to see the real intention behind those kinds of things.
And I think too, to listen to guys like Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo have meltdowns over the Trump Outrage of the Week; these guys become parodies after a while. You reach a point where only the most rabid radicals take them seriously.
Rasmussen had him at 52% for one day last week, now its back down to 48%.
He never stays over 50 for long.
I am not sure approval/disapproval is relevant to this election. There may be voters who vote for a candidate they disapprove of.
It’s not a controversy, it’s fake news.

The American people see a president who is actually doing his job and delivering for the most part all that he promised. The October Surprise scenario is getting old. If you really had dirt on the man you would of exposed it years ago, and not wait so conveniently to release it two months before the election. Donald Trump has been the most scrutinized and investigated president in our history. Very few of our Chief Executives would of survived what he has had to endure the past four years. The RATS have to dig deep to find nothing. On the other hand if you just skimmed the surface with people like Biden, the Clintons and the Obamas you’ll find so much corruption you won’t know where to start.

The best part of the drip-drip-drip from the left is the way he takes their mendacity and outrage, wraps it up in their fake attacks, and clobbers them over the head with it until they cry for mercy.
In that respect alone, the man is a genius.
