THE son of federal judge Esther Salas has been killed and her husband critically wounded after a gunman dressed as a Fedex delivery driver ambushed them inside their home last night.
Daniel Anderl, 20, was shot and killed Sunday evening after the killer entered the house in North Brunswick, New Jersey days after Salas took on an Epstein-linked case.
There is no suggestion that the shootings are linked to any of the judge's cases.
Her husband Mark Anderl - a 63-year-old criminal defense attorney - was also shot at their home and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the New Jersey Globe reported.
At around 9:20 pm, WNBC reported that he's in stable condition after undergoing surgery at RWJ Barnabas Health.
It's not immediately clear who was the intended target of the shooting and the suspect remains at large, according to the newspaper. MURDER AT FAMILY HOME
The terrifying assault happened at around 5pm when Mark answered the front door of the family home and was blasted several times by the gunman.
His son Daniel, a student at Catholic University in Washington DC, then came to investigate and was fatally shot "through the heart", it has been reported.
Salas, 51, was in the basement at the time of the shootings and was not injured.
Mayor of North Brunswick Francis Womack, a family friend, said the judge had received death threats in the past.
He told ABC News: "As a judge, she had threats from time to time, but everyone is saying that recently there had not been any."
The attack came days after the federal judge was assigned a case linked to pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
According to Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank is accused of misleading investors "about anti-money-laundering deficiencies," including failing to properly monitor high-risk customers, that included Epstein.
one article I read this morning said the husband answered the door and the kid then showed up to see what was going on.
who knows.
oh,,,,,riiiggghtt...I forgot this article is about kids that look like their parents. Got it.
The article isnt but your post was.

There is his wife who was given a pass, not even investigated to any extent, IIRC.

I've been amused and bemused by those phone apps that allow 2-way convos using the doorbell cams, and with the electric strike option, the ability to allow access to the home from one's remote location -- all to keep packages from being ripped off. Quick piece of tape (even a bandaid) blocks the latch as the delivery gets done, and the house is compromised. Later that evening, the killer enters the home without making a ruckus and, kaboom. Even if the delivery person isn't a killer, could be on the take.
According to NYPost, Daniel was was her son with husband, Mark.
Maybe the real pros are all dead. If SOP for the deep state/clintoon mafia is to hire a hitman to kill someone, and they succeed, then SOP would also be to erase the hitman and thus create a dead end - pun intended - for investigators trying to follow the lead.
Eventually you're going to have to pull in back benchers.
you should read ALL the posts before jumping in.
Definitely their son
The pointy haired boss saw it maybe a little differently.
“Do you think the Clintons will only pay the hitman a third?”
Now a mistake has been made. Hil LIAR y’s rep did not get the job done.
I think we will find the shooter very dead soon, but the threat has been made to any judge who even looks at billy.
Whoever arranged for the hit wouldn't necessarily have known that they were married.
Having grown up in New Jersey (and watched The Sopranos) a hit on the family of a Federal judge seems something way too stupid for the the Mob (Italian-American Mafia) to have done.
My guess would be a Mexican drug gang.
MS-13.............................
What? Are you suggesting Larry Nichols’s wife was a killer?
What makes you say that about the son?
Sounds like the husband might have been the target.
I don’t know who is the killer.
