I've been amused and bemused by those phone apps that allow 2-way convos using the doorbell cams, and with the electric strike option, the ability to allow access to the home from one's remote location -- all to keep packages from being ripped off. Quick piece of tape (even a bandaid) blocks the latch as the delivery gets done, and the house is compromised. Later that evening, the killer enters the home without making a ruckus and, kaboom. Even if the delivery person isn't a killer, could be on the take.
