Subway announced Wednesday it is banning the open carry of firearms in restaurants across the nation.
WRAL reports the ban applies even in states where open carry is legal.
Guns.com notes Subways firearm policy now says the restaurant chain requests guests (other than authorized law enforcement) refrain from openly displaying firearms inside restaurants even in states where open carry is permitted.

Interesting. The nearest subway restaurant to our house is next to a gun store. I guess they might lose some foot traffic.
Does anyone still dine there?
Your food sucks anyway.
Then they better put up 30.07 signs in TX.
Wonder why they are so fearful?
Don’t open carry either, but the principle is the thing.
Did the franchisees agree to this directive?
How are they still in business anyways?
There are better sub shops and they never seemed that busy.
Don’t eat their F’n crap sandwiches anyway. Would rather carry than get food poisoning.
Processed meat is bad for you anyway.
Fortunately, there are a ton of alternatives to Flub-Way.
Unless black. Guaranteed these wannabee warriors will not be denied service.
Customers not allowed in with guns.
But any robbers can go in, armed.
After all they’re not customers.
They’re there to rob the place.
“firearm policy now says the restaurant chain requests “
a request is not a ban
Jimmy John’s is better - and “freaky fast”, to boot.
Stupid move, Subway.
Anyone who would cause them problems, don’t care about their policy.
Haven’t been there in years. Convenience stores make better sandwiches.
Not been in years. One thing is for sure and that is the left have gone all attack against us, the Constitution and this country. NFL, NASCAR, FED EX, Subway etc etc etc
Ahh too bad, they used to be a good option, these places down here in Texas are gonna dry up for sure and close
