In today’s world you can burn down a church, tear down an abolitionist statue, or pour fake blood on the portrait of a founding father, and you’ll be praised. But don’t dare defend your family from a violent mob threatening to kill you, your wife, and your children—that would be wrong. Recently, in St. Louis, Missouri, a married couple successfully defended their home with a rifle and a pistol against a BLM mob allegedly endangering their lives. For this, the city’s lead prosecutor is attempting to press charges against them. The whole episode is perfectly symbolic of the chaos in America.

My Sig says it’s ready, my Mauser is German made but an accurate beast of a rifle for those long shots. I pray to God it doesn’t come to it but fear we are past the point of no return. We, the righteous ones have sat back too long allowing this to spiral out of control. These thugs are emboldened and we have been far too patient.
Ammo is fine. If the shtf I’ve got too much to carry so will be handing out to my patriot friends. I load my own rifle ammo and bulk purchased for my pistols.
I don't really have room for more.
Some of my neighbors are part of the problem.
I could not believe how empty the shelves at my local Academy Sports was. There were a few exotic calibers, but the only 38 Special were snake loads. The shelves were bare.
Happily I have plenty and the means to produce more, but someone buying now is coming late to the party.

Every other day when I go in the local gun shop at different times of the day, early, noon and late afternoon, it is full of folks BUYING guns and ammo. The shop has hired extra help and everyone is helping someone. First time gun owners are not uncommon. This has been going on for weeks. Hard to even find a parking space.
Wifey and I are gonna be going pew shopping here real soon. But I guess we’d better check and see what’s available.
I’ve always been a staunch 2A supporter but never thought I’d be seriously thinking about concealed carry classes. Shows how blind I’ve been about some things.

I was at a larger than average locally owned dealer out in the deep red state where I live last week and folks wanting to purchase a firearm had to take a number like when you go to get your driver license renewed.

We are burning through it to maintain proficiency. Ammo is available online, so far.
Getting ammo for range time is a problem. Or so I’m told.

It would appear so.
Basically a pistol round that mimics a shotgun blast round to manage those lovely rattlers you run into from time to time.
I have a Ruger 9mm that I keep snake shot in. Keep my Sig for regular ammo.
