Macy's Fireworks show is the usual garbage with some extra "woke"ness this year

Just caught a few minutes of it. Some young, black activist talking about the nation needing to work on its promises followed immediately by "Lady A" (Gee, they get picked shortly after they sided with the left and dropped the Antebellum. I'm sure that's just a coincidence...). Now it's the Black Eyed Peas. Won't be watching a second more. Usual pop culture trash with an extra serving of leftist nonsense. No thanks.

Definitely a woke fest but it’s gotten slightly better. The Tim McGraw performances are great.

I prefer the Macy's Thanksgiving parade with Woody Woodpecker.
An evening with Kramer in Anytown USA for fireworks on the 4th is nice and relaxing, though. Even serene.

In addition to the NBC/Macy's Leftist BS, ABC played a two-hour episode of the ESPN show 30 for 30 going through the entire history of the Soviet men's hockey team. The episode culminated in how tragic the Miracle on Ice was for that team, including interviews with players from that team. This is what ABC thought was appropriate for Independence Day.

I was walking with my family in the park today.
I looked at a man holding a toddler upside down and thought: I hope that guy doesn’t drop the child on his head.
I took a few more steps, had a better look and thought: I hope my Brother-In-Law doesn’t drop his child on his head.
