Nolte: Joe Biden’s Rope-a-Dope Is Working Brilliantly Against Trump (Breitbart /Barf Alert)
Breitbart.com ^ | Jun 30, 2020 | John Nolte

Let me tell you why I believe the polls… Because in 2016, the polls were accurate. No, not the state polls. The state polls were way off. The average of the national polls, however, was almost exactly correct.

President Trump lost the national popular vote in 2016 by 2.1 points — and just barely beat Hillary Clinton.

Awkward! Joe Biden admitted he was given a "list" of approved reporters he was instructed to call on for questions.

You're not supposed to say that part out loud, Joe! pic.twitter.com/a9lnq9Qgsw— Trump War Room - Text TRUMP to 88022 (@TrumpWarRoom) June 30, 2020

Only among people who already hate him, Ruthie. Why don’t you go vote for the murder of another 50,000,000 babies.
Oh, wait, you just did.

Huh? You deduced all that from my post. Just wow.

Why don’t you take a few deep breaths, buddy? You seem like you’re wound a little too tightly.

“You deduced all that from my post.”

Your user name is rbg81. You started your post with a totally unjustified, boneheaded criticism of Our President.

You ain’t got to be no wizard. Only question in my mind is whether you’re a BLM dude or a RINO.

Rope a dope? How does a possum play that while hiding in a basement?

Easy. Two ways, actually. By staying out of the spotlight he makes this a referendum on President Trump. Second, when people can't see the Biden today, they mentally recall the Biden they know from his days as VP, a younger, more mentally alert Joe Biden.

“The pettiness of the President of the United States constantly calling out individual reporters and media outlets.”

You think that’s petty? His identification of the American media as depraved, degenerate, anti-American fakenews liars is probably the most significant achievement of his presidency. I have longed for decades for a president with the courage to tell the truth.

The media have been one of the biggest factors in the attempt to destroy the United States of America. There is no person working for any arm of the mainstream media who does not deserve arrest, trial, conviction, sentencing, and execution. And you call Our President petty for talking about it.

“rather than call people out for nonsense. The Fake News BS is tiresome.”

You call it “nonsense” and “tiresome?” It is likely to be the difference between America’s destruction and its survival.

“He should be campaigning for House/Senate races and tweeting good news stories that make him look like a human”

Too bad he didn’t have you to advise him when he was making $10 billion. Who knows how rich he could have become.

Personally, I am irritated that he allowed his advisors to steer him into an endorsement of Scott Tipton, who is a liar and a baby killer. Still, there aren’t enough hours in the day for him to go into every single thing in detail. If only he had better advisors. Aren’t there any other honest men left in America?

“stop fighting with the Tacoma Gazette because they wrote mean things about him.”

How dare the Tacoma Gazette, newspaper of record in the dangerous idiot community, publish vicious lies that they themselves do not believe? They should be hanging from temporary gibbets erected on the mall. IMHO, of course.

That is not barely beating somebody, that's almost landslide victory territory.

You do realize the razor-thin margins of victory in those battleground states? President Trump can't afford to lose a single vote. Not one. And this year he's not running against a candidate that people viscerally loath. A lot of people didn't vote for Trump because they liked him. They voted for Trump because they hated, absolutely hated, Hillary Clinton.

Biden doesn't have this problem. Sure, we call him "Gropin' Joe" on Free Republic, but out there in the real world where voters don't spend time on political forums, Joe Biden isn't nearly as divisive as Hillary Clinton was.

People on this forum will never buy it because we are the solid base, but I do believe there are a LOT of people who will be turned off of Trump because of his pettiness.

I agree. There's a lot of preaching to the choir here. Too many FReepers make the mistake of thinking that everyone is just like them. Trump's voters in 2016 were not all enthusiastic supporters. There were a number of people who voted for him simply because they hated Hillary Clinton. Will these same people come out against Biden? Others voted for Trump becaue they thought he'd be good for the economy and he was, until Dr. Fauci turned it into a smoking crater. Will he have these folks a second time around?

Well you are exactly right I’ve read Breitbart for years they seem to be of the mindset that if Trump even does 1 thing outside his campaign promises he is betraying the country for foreign labor

Unless you know how many votes for the Murderess were fraudulent—and that number is surely in the hundreds of thousands at the very least—you have no idea how many votes turned the election.

You can complain about vote fraud all you want but when nobody does anything about it, even in the reddest of states, those votes count in the end and are just as valid as yours and mine.

Vote fraud is an abstraction, a cypher. We talk about it and treat it as if it's real but save for one or two prosecutions nationwide each election cycle, neither party has ever done anything to address it other than whine.

And I don't expect to see much movement on the issue this year.

A win is still a win.
All I hear in the rest of your reply is yada, yada, yada.

Sorry. Being an optimist I just can't support your pessimism.

OTOH, someone here said that Trump has recently been acting more subdued and calm. Maybe he’s realizing all this hotheaded stuff won’t be good for him.

I agree that we here on FR can’t believe Biden can wim. That’s too logical. He with the media behind him covering his old and new gaffe tracks, and the burdens of a cratered economy, and a virus debacle still smoldering, with a BLM sore still active, can be beaten by any breathing candidate. If he presents himself as calm and in control, he will win. If he is the bellicose angry man he can be , he will lose.

Buddy, you could not be more wrong. Unless I’m dead, I’ve voting for Trump in Nov. And maybe even if I am dead.

But, beyond that, YOU are the one being boneheaded. The OP who posted the article asked for opinions. I gave mine and its an honest one. Clearly, you don’t like it, but that’s not the point. The point is to have a free exchange of ideas to arrive at the truth. If you can’t handle that, then maybe you should think about joining the Leftist Taliban - you might fit right in.

All we know for sure right now is that Biden hiding in his root cellar is working in his favor, because every time he speaks, some dumb incomprehensible crap comes out of it. It’s up to Trump to smoke him out of his hidey hole.

Trump is acting like an idiot.

This should be easy to win for Trump. Economy going great, Dem lies in the Russia collusion hoax now are not even debatable and he he running against a babbling senile baboon. But he keeps making too many unforced errors. Sure, his off the cuff comments may fly in his amen corner around these parts but they are not working with the swing voters. The Polls show that. But there is plenty of time and he hasn't focused solely on Biden yet. He can (and must) still win but he needs to stop making stupid mistakes or we need to get used to saying President Biden

“You can complain about vote fraud all you want but when nobody does anything about it, even in the reddest of states, those votes count in the end and are just as valid as yours and mine.”

It’s still fraud, even if you get away with it.

“Vote fraud is an abstraction, a cypher.”

Can’t agree with that. It’s a very real crime used by demonrats to steal elections.

“We talk about it and treat it as if it’s real”

It is no less real because the forces of evil get away with it.

“neither party has ever done anything to address it other than whine.”

Neither? Only one party engages in it.

“And I don’t expect to see much movement on the issue this year.”

Then say goodbye to America, and to your liberties.

“Buddy, you could not be more wrong. Unless I’m dead, I’ve voting for Trump in Nov. And maybe even if I am dead.”

That’s exactly what a troll would say.

“I gave mine and its an honest one.”

I see no reason to believe that it is an honest opinion. After all, it’s a ridiculous proposition. To believe that it is your honest opinion, I’d have to believe that you are an idiot.

“The point is to have a free exchange of ideas to arrive at the truth.”

That only works if no one is lying. If you have people who are trying to gaslight Trump supporters with moronic lies, then there is no “free” exchange of ideas.
