Look again comrade. She was backing into him and spreading her arms out so he couldn't proceed further. When he tried to go around she moved to block him. Then she calls out to other people in the mob, who start to converge on him, he pulls his pepper spray, throws her to the ground, and tries to leave but is restrained. He gets away, probably with the aid of the pepper spray.
In subsequent video several people follow him and at least two different people shout "kill him".

Bullshit, she was aggressively impeding his movement, bumping into him and hindering his progress. You can see her shift her weight backwards to push into him. It is also discussed that she had been haranguing him earlier and multiple times doing the same thing (comments at the link in the post).
Bottom line, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Hinder anyone’s ability to freely move and expect to be moved out of the way - action/reaction.
This used to be a free country with people able to actually analyze a situation and see the obvious outcomes.
I watched the video several times in slow motion. He puts his hands on her at the 00:06 mark (assault)and then it appears he picks her up and moves her to the left at the 00:14 mark (assault). The camera angle shifts to the right and picks back up when she blocked him moving to the right. He says something to her, she moves to the right and slightly back while he throws his left shoulder into her then grabs her jacket and throws her to the ground.
She’s tall and has some moves, so I’m guessing she plays ball and was doing nothing more than guarding out.
He assaulted her. Technically, he assaulted her several times and I didn’t see anyone do anything to him until AFTER she hit the deck. Matter of fact, there didn’t appear to be anyone within three feet of him until she hit the deck.
So, he will most likely get off on the shooting, but he’s going to jail for assault and I understand his weapon was modified somehow, so he could catch a felony on that one.

The same guy had just whacked the victim with the skateboard a few tenths of a second earlier. Probably why he couldn’t hold onto the board; it’s hard to use a skateboard as a bludgeon while holding knives in your hands!
Wrong. He was shot in stomach if he was running away he would be shot and a back, right? All he did was backup when I saw the gun but he still weapons drawn, and there were other people surrounding and beating Baca when he pulled his gun, including someone who had the skateboard at that point. The only person that was running away and still got attacked was the shooter.
Yup you can see him sloppily hand the skateboard over to somebody else and that’s when he had the weapons to use.
I guess it depends on your age but according to some reports the dude that was shot 39 or 40 years old.
