**BEHIND ENEMY LINES is a good movie...With Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman...**
Didnt that movie portray the rebels (muzzies) as the good guys, and the government military (Serbs) as evil?
In the movie, Hackman agonizes over rescuing the downed pilot because in Hollyweird land our forces must remain paralyzed with inaction lest we offend - and a Democrat President would be sure to enforce that. In the end, Hackman finally rescues the pilot and resigns for breaking orders.
With a non-Democrat President none of that would be an issue at all. Any non-Democrat President would give the go signal to rescue immediately - even an amnesty RINO like Bush.

but she was honored to be the first in the stealth fighter.
= = =
Hope this is some sexist bureaucrat trying to fool the public.
If it is a stealth fighter, how do we even know when or if it flew, and who was in it.
Sorry, my first response these days is: They are lying to me.

We name our bases after Confederate Generals and our attack helicopters after formerly hostile Indian tribes. Why shouldn’t we appropriate the war cry of a former enemy?

Once again, when men do it its just consider being at work that day. Every time women do they want special recognition. This is a job for men. The destruction of femininity and their insistence on trying to be men is bad for America.

The combat sorties are over the Persian Gulf out of the United Arab Emirates. There is no engagement from Iran

I could be wrong, but I think call signs are bestowed by the CO or the squadron.

You do have a point there. But considering today’s news (propaganda) trends, the article shows this girl made it to the top and white privilege could not have done it. Imagine her life expectancy if she was given an honor parade through downtown Seattle or Minneapolis.
Privilege was with McCain, an airplane crasher and a complete loser at everything else he did, even being a POW.
Overall, this article is an uplift. Crackers would not be a problem either.

good article - my only question is “combat.” Where do we have combat going on??

One of the first female pilots I know of flying the F-35 was the Operations Officer in the Fighter Squadron I am currently assigned. Her call sign was GRINDER. She was one hell of a fighter pilot. Very attractive brunette, that would hand you your ass in air to air combat.

The Romney and Trump boys are staying home so this is what you get. The one question in my mind is whether a guy was passed over so they could fill what amounted to a female quota in pilot training. I’d see it all the time in the attack helicopter community, for commands, etc.
