WASHINGTON D.C. - America has now deployed its first female stealth fighter pilot into combat, the Air Force announced.
Capt. Emily Thompson, call sign

There was 2005 film STEALTH...With Jessica Biel as the pilot...
During World War 2, there were Soviet female pilots who actually participated in combat...
BEHIND ENEMY LINES is a good movie...With Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman...
God Bless this admirable Patriot!
But shouldn’t that call sign be subject to outrage? I guess it’s selective.
But I give her an extra hat tip for having the internal fortitude to choose that!
God Bless you Captain Wolfe!!!
If women are in combat, I have no objection to them serving as combat pilots too. However, I strongly object to choosing a maintenance crew for the symbolism rather than because they are the best people for the job.
Hope it was against muzzie terrorists. They get all enraged when women kick their ass.
yay
The statement also noted that Thompson had an all-female maintenance crew to launch her historic flight>>>>>>
Deployed into combat with an all female maintenaence crew.
But what happens when the whole crew has synchronized PMS?
I feel sorry for two groups:
1) Command Structure
2) The enemy
May they all become the shield maidens of the Constitution.
**BEHIND ENEMY LINES is a good movie...With Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman...**
Didn’t that movie portray the rebels (muzzies) as the good guys, and the government military (Serbs) as evil?
She joined the mile high club.
Indeed, congrats.
Let’s embrace our strengths and not be fooled by our inadequacies.
I’m glad the F-35 is seeing some combat use.. I don’t care who is flying it, just glad to see it working all these years after I defended it and others called it a dead duck.

No, its just a word. As a former USAF controller, I can tell you, it probably goes like this. Banzai is the call sign for every pilot in the squadron. A number, or numbers is added, to denote each specific pilot. The squadron commander, is probably Banzai 1. Next might be Banzai 11, then 12, and so on.
I could not care less that a woman is flying an airplane. This is simply a sexist article.
JoMa
I don’t see why women can’t be in combat IF (a big IF) they meet the same physical standards as men.
The first female fighter pilot in the U.S. military died in a crash shortly after she started. Allegations at the time said she would have not qualified if she was a man.
What's wrong with being named after a stunted tree?
A couple of things that bother me about this article. First, are we in a war I don’t know about? Was this a real dogfight with shots fired or just a patrol? Seems sort of important. Second, it’s troubling that the military is signalling its wokeness with the all female maintenance crew. I saw a commercial for the new season of “Below Deck”, a reality show about a yacht crew. The hook this year is all the department heads are women. Is the military assigning crew for effectiveness or ratings from the leftist press?
Wouldn’t that be “bonsai”?
Any society that sends its women to fight before it sends its non-shaving boys and cane-borne old men deserves to be destroyed, and ultimately will be by a society that does not make that mistake.
She staffed CHAZ.
Now if she had been black, it really would have been noteworthy. /s Another example of white privilege? /s
