If this dismantling of the police becomes a reality, I expect firearm sales to skyrocket in the Twin Cities area.
The thing that politicians hate the most is armed vigilante citizens who discover that they no longer need the police or government to protect them. That scares just about every corrupt politician.
I think that the Twin Cities will become an object lesson for the rest of the country in how not to respond to riots. I also expect that the toll on human life and the local economy will within a year turn the Twin Cities into a living hell.
