I don’t do FB, Twitter, etc., but my sister (a FReeper) does, and she hits it hard. Surgical strikes. Zing!!
Most of us are busy with our own lives and jobs etc.

I used to comment on public news sites, but they seemed to have mostly turned to FB for commenting, then I would have various contacts there go after me. It is THE place, or was, for many people and organizations. Now, they will just delete your posts, or ban you. What is the point? I try to avoid anything remotely political there.

I do. Youtube and facebook regularly. I only had facebook to play games, and you “acquire” a lot of game neighbors that are obnoxious. So I call them out on it. They usually unfriend me after a few pokes.
What I’m saying is that us normals eventually will have to make a choice between comfort and making a stand. We always have to means to move away and avoid trouble, but the places to move to are quickly running out.

Facebook: Most of my liberal friends/family have unfriended me, so they would not see my posts. The remainder like what I post, but it is mostly preaching to the choir. Of course, I share so fellows can have talking points on issues of the day.
Twitter: Cesspool of non-thought. I quit and moved to Parler.
Before I got kicked off FB, I did it all the time.
I am also on Whisper. I take the good fight there.
Yes, I do. And often.
