President Barack Obama’s Treasury Department regularly surveilled retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn’s financial records and transactions beginning in December 2015 and well into 2017, before, during and after when he served at the White House as President Donald Trump’s National Security Director, a former senior Treasury Department official, and veteran of the intelligence community, told the Star Newspapers.
“I started seeing things that were not correct, so I did my own little investigation, because I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was correct” she said. “You never want to draw attention to something if there is not anything there.”
The whistleblower said she only saw metadata, that is names and dates when the general’s financial records were accessed. “I never saw what they saw.”
By March 2016, the whistleblower said she and a colleague, who was detailed to Treasury from the intelligence community, became convinced that the surveillance of Flynn was not tied to legitimate criminal or national security concerns, but was straight-up political surveillance among other illegal activity occurring at Treasury.
“When I showed it to her, what she said, ‘Oh, sh%t!’ and I knew right then and there that I was right – this was some shady stuff,” the whistleblower said.
“It wasn’t just him,” the whistleblower said. “They were targeting other U.S. citizens, as well.”
Only two names are listed in the whistleblower’s official paperwork, so the others must remain sealed, she said. The second name is Paul J. Manafort Jr., the one-time chairman of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.
The other names include: Members of Congress, the most senior staffers on the 2016 Trump campaign and members of Trump’s family, she said.

Flynn disagreed with the Obama administration on a whole host of national security issues. That was a cardinal sin in the Obama years. The final straw was when he testified “under oath” before congress and contradicted the Obama narrative that Al Qaeda was on the run and a shell of their former self when they had largely moved to Africa and other nations under pressure and they were growing.
There are a lot of news stories out there if you use Google. Apparently, having a different opinion in the administration was an unforgivable sin. They really did not like him.
Consider exhibit A to corroborate this - Obama warned Trump about two people - the dictator of North Korea and General Flynn.
It was not just the Obama White House either. Flynn wanted to streamline the intel agencies (i.e. - cut hundreds of not thousands of jobs), downsize the National Security Council office, and *gasps* conduct a full audit that would likely reveal that there were billions (with a B) of dollars that could not be accounted for in “black programs”.
Flynn disagreed vehemently with the Iran deal, the “crown jewel” of Obama foreign policy if you don’t count the nurturing of the Arab Spring and the chaos that created.
It is pretty obvious why Flynn had to be removed.

Quite a career jump from the CIA to Treasury to a bank director.
If Durham doesn’t act before the end of June, he will not act until after the election, if ever. I do not trust him because we have been sold a bill of rotten goods too many times these last 3+ years. My faith in our so-called justice system is at rock bottom.

Thank you...I’ve been trying to nail down that connection that far back, by reading all the schiff transcripts and going goo-goo eyed doing it. I actually think Flynn was traced when Obama adiosed him in August of 2014.
I thought I had it via Nellie Ohr as she worked for Glenn Simpson 10/2015-09/2016, but I couldn’t connect her with what her husband was doing at that time.
I forgot to mention a few other things that are probably relevant: 1) as several here know, Butter's family was seriously threatened and attacked. 2) I've had contact with two of the participants in the hoax. One hurled an epithet and the other said, "You'd better have a good lawyer."
Why would a couple of researchers have need of a good lawyer? Oh, yeah, criminals often feel they have an inherent right not to have their crimes exposed. He's passed away now, and probably shouldn't look forward to his day in court.

By the way, in The Fuddy Hoax, the USCG, US Navy and their classified gear were corruptly abused. I would hope sailors would be properly incensed about the President and the Director of the CIA using military personnel and hardware against the citizenry to further election fraud.
I have a USN Commander acquaintance/friend, whose associates and higher-ups at PACFLT would have at least been aware of this particular corrupt event. I saw in the Commander's response--already five years ago--severe concern for my well being if I should pursue our exposure of that event. Shortly after my discussion with him (and I trust he compared notes with his buds), he cut off all discussion with me, so I lost that budding friendship, at least for the time being.
