This guy went to private schools, and was nurtured and encouraged throughout his career. His 1/2 black race propelled his career, instead of limiting it. He’s also been one of the most racially divisive office holders of modern times.

IIRC, this apparently was something of an issue early on in his candidacy for President. Given the background mentioned in my post (growing up in white country club settings in Hawaii), black supporters of Hillary thought he was not at all genuine concerning racial identity issues.
