Please tell your friends One Romney in the Senate is enough.
Sessions has his scores for being flogged by President Trump.

The nation doesn’t need it.

President Trump will not endorse the recused elf.

Go for tommy as he’s 10 years younger then sessions. He can possibly be elected/re-elected 3 times.

70% of the voters spoke loud and clear: Derp Jeff is done.

But 67% voted against Tuberville. It will all depend on where the losers' voted go.

“Where will Byrne’s voters go in the runoff?l

I will go for Sessions. I just don’t know anything about Tuberville. I haven’t even seen a commercial for him. I think people are voting for him simply out of name recognition. My concern about Sessions is that he may not now be the Trump supporter he claims to be. I’m wondering if he may harbor some animosity about how things turned out.

Agree. You just cannot hand Sessions a senate seat after his betrayal.

“We already saw how well Roy Moore did vs. Doug Jones in 2017.”

Jones would not have won if it wasn’t for the slander campaign, the media running flak for Jones, the vote fraud, and all that dirty money from the Highway 31 PAC.

If Byrne is smart he should endorse Tuberville, citing that sessions had already failed the President once as AG.

Byrne will probably endorse Sessions. Beltway GOP sticks together.

Regardless, it was very smart to not nominate Moore again, and he stayed in single digits, showing the AL GOP electorate knew he couldn’t be trusted to defeat Doug Jones here in 2020.

The race wasn’t a referendum on Tuberville or Byrne, it was a referendum on Sessions. If he had done his job as AG and was returning to “retire” to the Senate, he’d have been virtually unopposed. Pres. Trump has already endorsed Tuberville, so this is done. (Before you say he also endorsed Strange, remember that Strange was massively unpopular for the corrupt appointment that forced the new Governor to move up the special election a year, so it was a referendum on Strange & Bentley and not Trump)

Worst GOP Attorney General EVER. Derp Jeff is a tool of the corrupt establishment. If that’s not apparent to anyone with eyes, they have no business voting.

President Trump asks all AL Republican voters to support Tuberville. No more traitors in the Senate !

I’m not sure what Sessions did was a betrayal.

The whole “lock her up” chant, followed by a whole list of other Obama officials that should be indicted and locked up - seemed at first to be the obvious thing that should happen, and obviously Trump’s AG should do it.

Otherwise, you have a two-tiered justice system.

But four years later, with nothing having happened even though Sessions is long gone, I believe it is more a case of poorly managed expectations.

Donald Trump was never going to try and lock them up - he took the pulse and decided he didn’t have anywhere near the political clout to pull off “Saturday Night Massacre times infinity”. As it is, by merely firing Comey and a few others - he got himself impeached! That’s what he is up against.

Who knows, maybe in a second term he’ll be in a better position - but to blame Jeff Sessions for not locking them up and for the whole Mueller debacle - seems like a yuge stretch.

I was ready to be proven wrong when Barr became AG, but he hasn’t made a dent either. There’s got to be more to this than who happens to be AG.

That Bama-Auburn rivalry goes pretty deep.
Does he get past that with the voters?

Okay, I read your comment a couple of times and not knowing the background, I’ll guess.

Bama and Auburn are both in Alabama? Not well versed on college football.

Tuberville was connected with one of them?

Ya’ll have my permission to call me stupid.

From what everyone has told me, including Bannon, though, Sessions totally betrayed Trump by not even talking to him about the recusal. he blindsided him, and the worst part was he put Rat Rosenstein in charge of Mulehead, and RR expanded the investigation to get Trump.
