Truly conservative judges will decide on the basis of the Constitution. Liberal defendants have the same rights as conservative defendants. However, how often will the liberal be asking for a judgment that is constitutional? If their argument is wrong, constitutionally, the right judgment will be that they will lose their case.
This is why the liberal wants cases to be judged by emotional standards, rather than strictly legal. This is why judges legislated from the bench . . . until now. Trump has just about cleared the swamp in the judicial branch.
Once that is done, he will have the guns to clean out the swamp in the other branches.
So SCOTUS smacked Illinois down.

It is vital to replace Thomas and Alito if he retires in the next 5 years with Strict Constructionists and it is even more vital to replace as many of the Gang of Four as possible with Strict Constructionists.
Once that is done, these nationwide injunctions which have no constitutional basis can be forever banned as well as reams of unconstitutional gun grabbing legislation.
