Liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a blustering dissent in an ideologically split 5-4 Supreme Court ruling released Friday night in which she accused the five conservative justices who voted in the majority of repeatedly favoring the Trump administration.
The case involved an appeal by the Department of Homeland Security for an injunction in a ruling against the imposition by the administration of a “public charge rule” regarding immigrants in an Illinois case that the Court has already allowed for the other 49 states. Sotomayor’s dissent is in the context of the growing pushback in recent years by President Trump and his administration that has found support from the Court’s conservative majority against the imposition of nationwide injunctions by individual District Court judges against Trump administration actions. The increased imposition of nationwide injunctions has fueled a belief the lower courts are acting politically as part of the anti-Trump resistance.

Now we see the real forces working inside the Supreme Court.

Truly conservative judges will decide on the basis of the Constitution. Liberal defendants have the same rights as conservative defendants. However, how often will the liberal be asking for a judgment that is constitutional? If their argument is wrong, constitutionally, the right judgment will be that they will lose their case.
This is why the liberal wants cases to be judged by emotional standards, rather than strictly legal. This is why judges legislated from the bench . . . until now. Trump has just about cleared the swamp in the judicial branch.
Once that is done, he will have the guns to clean out the swamp in the other branches.
So SCOTUS smacked Illinois down.

She and Kagen were appointed by the illegitimate president Obozo. Obozo was the biggest fraud ever perpetrated upon this nation. Trump needs to instruct the DOJ to finally expose the fraud Obozo and remove from the SCOTUS his two judges.

Well thank you captain obvious! Apparently it’s OK to support a leftist president when you are a leftist supreme court judge. But it is not OK to support a republican/conservative president when you are a conservative judge.
