Analysis: Fight over Trump’s impeachment shifts to battle over the impact on Senate races
Washington Compost ^ | Feb 8, 2020 | Paul Kane

The Senate’s impeachment trial of President Trump may have ended, but the political fallout will continue for weeks and possibly months to come. A pair of Democratic super PACs on Friday announced reservations for a several-million-dollar digital ad campaign targeting Republican senators in Arizona, Maine and North Carolina, two days after the trio voted to acquit Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

Armed with polling showing voters largely supported an expanded trial, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is trying to raise money for key challengers to Republican incumbents. “We know you’re angry,” the DSCC began its Friday missive....

In that span, 100 senators have run for reelection from a state that picked their party in the presidential election, with 98 of those senators winning. To capture the Senate majority, der la Fuente wrote, Democrats may need someone at the top of the ticket who wins upward of 340 electoral votes and prevails in states like Georgia and Iowa to also bring along the Senate candidate.

Keep and eye on Peters in Michigan. John James can win that race.

I caught Peters on a black talk station today. He was pushing the lie that The President was offered witnesses but didn’t want them and “why wouldn’t an innocent man want witnesses?”. Of course the “reverend” host didn’t point out that the rats refused to allow the President to have any witnesses in the house.

“why wouldn’t an innocent man want witnesses?”

An innocent Man doesn’t need to call Witnesses.

He is presumed innocent until PROVEN Guilty.

No, Manchin is not up for re-election. The voters of West Virginia voted in 2018 to return him to the Senate, where he is doing everything possible to block the agenda of the president who carried their state by 40 points in 2016.

Manchin will not face the voters again until 2024.

pity, who runs against him in ‘24 needs to use his impeachment vote as an ad.

Republicans will be defending 23 seats in 2020, while the Democratic Party will be defending 12 seats. The odds are in the RATS favor this time.
