President Trump denied early Monday that he told then-national security adviser John Bolton the holding of military aid to Ukraine was tied to investigations into Democrats.
Trump said he “NEVER” had that conversation with Bolton despite a New York Times report that claims Bolton was told Trump wanted to continue freezing $391 million in security assistance until officials in Ukraine helped with the probes.
“I NEVER told John Bolton that the aid to Ukraine was tied to investigations into Democrats, including the Bidens,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
“In fact, he never complained about this at the time of his very public termination.”
The president insisted that if Bolton made the remarks, it was “only to sell a book.”

What lies [direct quotes please, not secondhand claims made by Vindman’s elusive twin brother about a manuscript the NYTimes wasn’t even allowed to see] and what rants [direct links to full rants, in context and not chopped into third- or half- sentences?
If Bolton was what he’s being portrayed to be we’d be getting entire chapters.
So far all it looks like is Bolton just identified a leaker currently employed at the White House... and we know this leaker is connected through his brother to Schiff’s staff.
I can’t think of an example where someone claimed President Trump did this or that, and it actually proved to be true.
Bolton is no exception.
Since everyone else around the President has stated that the withholding of military aid wasn’t tied to any investigation, why would he only tell Bolton it was? And why in God’s name would President Trump turn around, and do the exact same thing that Joe Biden did? It makes no sense at all.

Bolton should be toast now. He’ll have his millions for his book, so he should be set. But, who would ever hire him except for CNN and MSNBC?
He won’t be hired by anyone who wants loyalty and discretion. He will spend the rest of his life as a contributor to MSNBC or CNN totally teasing all the things he believes in. What a way to end your career.

Well he is old enough to retire so he probably doesn’t need to work. He will also make a lot with his book. Then if he wants to work he can work in the MSM who will hire him.

If the reports are correct that Vindman’s brother told this to the Times, it could very well be a setup or just a plain lie.

I think I’ll wait a while on this one before I accuse John Bolton of anything improper.
Question: Bolton was told by whom? Apparently not President Trump. Was it Sondland? He's already admitted that the President said NO Quid Pro Quo. He wanted nothing. Nobody has testified that President Trump made the Quid Pro Quo.

A copy of the book was sent to the WH. WHO in President’s circle knew about the book, read the book and failed to even get out in front of anything before a leak occurred?
Someone tell me that the attorney’s weren’t aware of Bolton’s book? If not, why? I read the letter from Bolton publisher to the WH saying they submitted the book for review. WHO dropped the ball?

This whole crew is so used to lying about any/everything and don’t know how to handle it when someone comes along and ‘challenges’ them.
I can see where Bolton ‘may’ have a vendetta against PDJT but find it hard to believe that BOTH of them didn’t know that if Bolton was appointed ‘Colonel of the Urinal’ the LIBs would go Bat Guana.
That said, I really can’t see Bolton going out of his way to aid and abet the Ds.
I still think that daughter & SIL in their positions isn’t a good idea but..... Are they still smoozin’ the Ds in their ‘circle’?
One would imagine that no matter how independent she was raised and no matter how headstrong she is, one would think she would show the common courtesy of not ‘hanging’ with groups that would like to see ‘Dad’ go away.
Remember the decision to bring Amoroosa(sp??) into the inner circle was a disaster but even after her 15 min of fame, she seems to have gone away...(guess depends how long she has to shut up about the ‘hush money’ etc)
