This is the first I've seen on how we knew Soleimani was coming to Baghdad Thursday night.

I’m going into tin-foil hat mode. The article mentions the attackers were meant to take hostages. John Kerry is talking to the Iranians. It’s now an election year. Are the Rats trying to have a replay of 1980? With Donald Trump as Jimmy Carter(who can’t free the hostages), and whichever Rat candidate as the equivalent of Ronald Reagan?

Another major coincidence was Putin’s acknowledgement about US Help with a Terrorism matter last week.

From the beginning, I’ve referred to the incident at the embassy as a “Failed Attack”. They were not protesters at all, but militia. Had the embassy not been so well defended, it would have been a disaster. Instead, they got lots of press coverage and pretty photos of them damaging and rioting outside the actual embassy, quickly followed by the death of their leader.

FAILED ATTACK

”To be clear, this is the equivalent of Iran killing the US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and then taking credit for it.”

If the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs or Staff or the Director of the CIA was on the ground in a place where the U.S. has no right to be conducting any military operations (in Syria, for example), then wouldn’t they be legitimate targets?

And there’s your connection, leftists. There’s the proof. Legitimate response on our part. Now you know.

TEL AVIV: Five days ago, an undisclosed intelligence agency intercepted a telephone call made by the head of Iran’s Quds Force, Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, in which he was heard ordering his proxies in Iraq to attack the U.S embassy in Baghdad, as well as other Israeli and American targets, with the aim of taking hostages, Israeli sources say.

...

Did they capture the phone call of John Kerry giving him the green light?

I’m missing the tin-foil hat aspect. Kerry is there for ONE REASON, which is to undercut Trump. But Kerry, it seems, made a HUGE mistake. He thought that Trump, at worst, would cut and run, given Trump’s reluctance to be involved in that part of the world. The evidence for that was the very quick Democrat reactions to the embassy attack, with them saying that Trump is a wimp and not responding. It seems to me to be a coordinated response with the DNC.

They just missed the part where Trump gets really angry when innocent Americans are attacked...anywhere in the world.

“The assessments in Israel are that Iran will not retaliate immediately, but will weigh its course, and may well continue the current strategy, awaiting the results of the US election in November...”

I agree with the first-part. Being that Iran’s conventional military capability is limited as far as force-projection goes, I expect that they’ll select from a list of terrorist strikes that have already been planned. Probably planned by the late-General himself. I think they’ll do ‘something’ long before the election, however.

Has the State Dept. or the U.N. issued a travel alert for Chicago.

The Windy City appears to be a war zone.

Right.

Abu Mahdi AlMuhandes of PMU led the “protesters”. They could not overcome the inner security shield the Marines defended. That was on Wednesday, no? Wednesday night, V-22 Ospreys landed 100 heavily armed and ordnance Marines.

Thursday, the crowds of “protesters” came back, but then all left. AlMuhandes could see it was going to be a LOT harder to succeed with all the reinforcements there.

I think they left due to orders from Soleimani, who told AlMuhandes, “Stop operations for now, I’ll come out tonight and take complete control.”

He didn’t realize we were listening.

It couldn’t have been many hours, local time, from the last protestor leaving the Embassy area early Thursday afternoon and Qassem getting on his “Charmed” flight to Baghdad.

They was killed 5 minutes after they landed and AlMuhandes rolled up to the deck stairs in his SUVs.

Question to you... What do you think Soleimani was up to? What were his intentions, beside trying to fix a failed Embassy takeover, that day?

point of order:

The President did not get angry. He acted in a cool rational manner and destroyed the enemy of opportunity as does any great commander

Actually, your thoughts are not out of line.
A replay of the Carter hostage fiasco would (I believe) bring down President Trump.
Can you just imagine “Trump: America Held Hostage Day 198” on every network every day?

Ok. Maybe it isn’t tinfoil hat. So the attackers(according to the article)were looking to take hostages, and things were supposed to be like 1979/1980 with Donald Trump playing Jimmy Carter, and whichever Rat candidate playing Ronald Reagan.

Did you note the very next sentence?

If Donald Trump remains In the White House, Iran is believed likely to negotiate changes in its nuclear agreement with the powers.

This would be a GREAT campaign ad for Pres. Trump.

"Reelect me and we WILL negotiate changes To Iran's nuclear agreement. They drop the quest for weapons!"

I’ll guess we’ll have to wait for a NSC whistleblower to find out what really was said on the call. I’m sure we’ll find out this innocent guy was just a Hajj pilgrim making connections in Baghdad.
