New York City police have arrested a 13-year-old male juvenile in the shocking stabbing death of a Barnard College student, sources told Fox 5 News Friday.
Tessa Majors, an 18-year-old freshman, was discovered unconscious with “multiple stab wounds about the body” near a staircase in Manhattan’s Morningside Park just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said earlier this week. The president of the all-women school says she “was fatally injured during an armed robbery” attempt.
A police source told Fox 5 News Friday that the teen confessed to stabbing Majors. The report, citing police, adds that as many as three people were involved in the attack.
“The passing of Tess Majors is an unthinkable tragedy that has shaken us to our core,” Barnard College President Sian Leah Beilock said during a community gathering Thursday. “We are all grieving, and trying to grasp the senseless tragedy that took Tess from us.”

She then said, to bad she wasn’t armed...oh wait, she didn’t say that.
This beautiful young girl was very naive, raised by liberal white parents in an upper class bubble in Virginia. It is too sad for words that she had to meet up with a NYC feral while out for a walk at 5:45 pm, in the early evening.
Civilized people once knew how to handle uncivilized behaviors in ways that discouraged future offenses.
But, alas, we have become modern at the price of becoming uncivilized.
We set various people up to fail and then they take our civilization away from us.
By following this path, we, the people, have earned our consequences the old fashioned way with politicians who serve themselves by playing to our lowest common denominator.

The passing? I’m trying hard not to hate people who talk like that. The victim was stabbed multiple times, then left to die in a pool of her own blood. And Barnard College President Beilock talks as if the victim died of old age.
Try them as adults. Lock them up in protective solitary confinement. For. The. Rest. Of. Their. Lives.
That’s probably it. He needed money for more model car kits.

I thought the exact same thing. Liberals refuse to call it what it is—MURDER.
They say “fatally injured” and “passing” as if the victim fell off her bike and hit her head and died as a result of an accident. This wasn’t an accident; it was murder. If you stab someone, or shoot them, you know you may have snuffed out the life of a fellow human being.
Liberals claim to be compassionate yet they refuse to condemn criminal behavior, allow criminals to freely roam in society, and they give no consideration or compassion to the victims.
Too young to get a real sentence. He’ll end up in juvie and out at 18.
Some of that was just “traditonal” stupidity inherited from their elders, but SOME of it was due to living in proximity to a sub set of blacks who absolutely hated whites and committed crimes against them at every opportunity. It’s still going on today with over 2 million violent black-on-white crimes committed EVERY Year in the US. The Left has it’s ready made answer for this in “racism”, “slavery”, “poverty”, etc., so they NEVER have to confront blacks with their behavior. After all, if one is a perpetual “victim”, then there’s no need to apologize.
She was indeed beautiful and extremely naive. If you’re going to live in the city, you’d better have street smarts.

I’ve seen and heard 13 year olds ‘seasoned criminals’ at that age and younger. The fear of juvinal prison isn’t in their minds as it’s just a ‘family reunion’ with free rent and board in housing better than they get at home.
They know right from wrong at 13 and before..and the potential consequences.

We use to have ‘clicks’ in schools....generally one or two groups would step out of line by fighting or vandelizing now and then.......But now they’re violent and destructive “gangs” . That’s what they do.
In another article I saw, the Barnard president described the victim as an ardent feminist (based on her admission essay). Maybe she felt she had the “right” to walk wherever she pleased at any time of day.
