Don't buy the line that the ACA exists to help the poor. The ACA exists to help the friends of the Deep State.

The poor get the nut shells while the rich get the nuts.

The ACA greatly helps the insurance companies. Had a 60+ year old neighbor who qualified, single, good health.

Monthly premium charged by the insurance company for this single, healthy person = $1,490/month.

U.S. government paid the full amount.

Insurance companies take advantage of Obamacare by charging outrageous monthly premiums, and the government pays it.

The ACA was written by insurance industry lobbyists.

That's all you need to know about that abomination.

“.......and contributed to several startup insurers going out of business.”

It would be interesting to know the principals behind said “startup insurers”. Why do I smell the stink of Democrat skullduggery attached to this?

When this person and others like them pass away, some government department tied in with Zero-Care is likely to swoop in to take the lion’s share of their estate.

ACA exists to allow the deep state to fleece the sheeple.

Medicare Advantage is just a paycheck for AARP and inusrers.

Medical records requirements is just another paycheck for FOO (friends of obammy) fighters.

ACA gave insurance companies the same financial terms as public utilities had, cost plus and a guaranteed margin. No competition.

And on is goes.

How do you like it so far?

The only “free” policy available is the Silver policy. Much more expensive than Bronze but with very little additional benefit. It is a give-away for the insurance companies financed courtesy of the taxpayers and me who pays full price for a Bronze policy that requires me to shell out about $30,000 before it pays the first dollar of benefits.

Lovely.

Kaiser Health news upset at Kaiser losing billions it wants to steal from taxpayers?

Shocked, I tell you.

Next thing you will tell me is Hunter Biden didn’t get a cushy job in the Ukraine in return for influence and access.

The democrat must be happy that they have Roberts on their side. He can just change the law to anything he wants.

Not this time. The jerkoff got it to be “Constitution al” by saying it was a tax. Well there ain’t no tax on it, so good luck coming up with a new idea to save it. If I were Trump, I would encourage the SCOTUS to save it, because if they do, he will rip up the EO exempting the government from now being on it, and the next day every government worker will be able to enjoy what they inflicted on the taxpayer!

I’m not familiar with this aspect of Obamacare. What you describe sounds like Medicaid, but this individual was not on Medicaid, only Obamacare.

What exactly are you referring in the ACA law that allows the government to take someone’s estate?

Gee, no agenda here. Evidently, the "right" decision is in the best interest of BOTH parties in the case. Almost makes you wonder how the case got this far in the first place. Silly rabbit, government passing out money is always the right answer.
