There is a video at the link that I did not try to link.

Real info from inside Iran is very hard to find now. This is a source that is in the region and I trust.

Let's hope the leaders do the right thing and just walk away.

Doubt it.

I wonder if any of the commercial spy satellites like google maps are getting any visuals.

Or does a little piece of 150 billion in cash buy them off?

I saw another report that there had been a big call up of their basij riot control thugs - a half million according to that rumor, which would be about everybody.

Even with their part time hired muscle, the regime is far outnumbered by the population. If people start individually attacking the regime personnel themselves, instead of clustering together into crowds for focused oppression. The regime can’t be everywhere at once. Even big demonstrations in a few dozen different cities at once would be challenging for them to manage and resource.

Maybe a tipping point is coming. A lot of Iranians have to have been preparing for it, as things have clearly been heading for an economic crash, and possible regime collapse all year. Individual escape plans are likely widespread in the regime.

A few pictures of mullahs and Revolutionary Guards officers hanging from streetlights, might go a long way, in setting off a stampede. Some will probably try ordering mass murder if things get really bad for them, because murder has been the underpinning of the regime, they have been conditioned to rely on it. But when such oppressive regime’s mechanisms of oppression fail to meet the task, their end is typically swift.

Maybe this big tax on essential fuel will be their “Let them eat cake” moment.

A good indicator of seriousness/desperation, is when the regime flies in units of foreign thugs to beat and kill domestic protestors. They have done this before with some of their foreign surrogate militias, like Hizbollah from Lebanon, when unrest got hot in Iran.

I’m hoping that Americans find the courage to fight like a lot of people around the world are doing now. It’s the ONLY thing tyranny understands.

Worst domestic violence in Iran, since the Green Revolution in 2009. Some number of security forces have been killed, and a hundred banks burned.

The supreme leader designated it a security situation, rather than social unrest, unleashing a widespread use of lethal force.

Riots started on Friday, when 50% price hikes on gas were enacted. Both the supreme leader and Rouhani announced on Wednesday that they had restored calm, but Internet was still out, and some number of events continue.

The Government claims that they arrested dual-national provocateurs (German, Afghan, etc.) trained by foreign governments, and equipped with sabotage devices.

(Good time for the Saudis to take revenge for Iranian attacks on their oil infrastructure.)

Both Lebanon and Iraq, where the Iranian regime operates their main foreign surrogate militias, are undergoing major protests against Iranian interference.

While Iran and Hong Kong struggle to throw off their chains, our politicians are in the circus clown car doing nothing.
