O.J. Simpson is suing a Las Vegas hotel-casino that banned him in November 2017, alleging that unnamed employees defamed him by telling a celebrity news site he had been drunk, disruptive and unruly.
Simpson, on parole in Nevada for a 2008 conviction for armed robbery and assault with a weapon, filed the lawsuit Thursday against Nevada Property 1 LLC, corporate owner of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The complaint acknowledges that Simpson, after several hours with two friends at a steakhouse and a lounge in November 2017, received a notice from a security guard as they left. It prohibited him from returning to the Las Vegas Strip property. He says he was never given a reason.
Cosmopolitan spokeswoman Rachel Henry declined comment
Simpson denied in the lawsuit that he was “belligerent,” broke glass or damaged property.

We ALL get it, you don’t like OJ. I followed the trial, read all the books, and agree with the not guilty of murder determination. Very few people know ALL the facts. He was unaware, I believe, of the arms carried by his friends standing behind him, and none of them went to jail, just him. Ron Goldmen,the father, is a parasite, and although he was awarded 33 million, he had not gotten a dime, just his trophies. I applauded Simpson. He has been a model parolee, and is being victimized by those who think he was guilty. I hope he wins the court cade, and people will just leave him alone.

Here in Calizuela, starting next July, if we serve alcoholic beverages, we are required to have a certificate indicating we have gone through a training session in how to deal with an overly intoxicated person.
One of the things we are taught is not to tell a person why you are cutting them off or asking them to leave or why they are being asked to not come back because saying such things to an obviously intoxicated person may only serve to escalate the situation and, being drunk, they are not able to comprehend what they are being told anyway. You simply say, "I can't serve you any more alcohol". And repeat that as many times as necessary until you feel like it's time to bring in a supervisor or security.
We can tell them they are welcome to order a soda or have a glass of water or suggest they eat something but do not let them suck you into an argument. Even though what you are doing is for their own good.
With all the video cameras there are in a casino, I highly doubt he would've been kick-banned for no reason.
