President Donald Trump unveiled a plane model on Thursday demonstrating the new color scheme for Air Force One.
The model was spotted on a table in the Oval Office during a meeting between President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
I would say the plane basically is an upgrade over that model. We actually are getting things that they didnt get. Were saving about $1.5 billion. So its going to be terrific, Trump told reporters.
the new Air Force One will go into service in 2024.
Despite some critics lamenting the loss of the baby blue and gold paint scheme, Trump is ready for a change.
You know what? Its been a long time and it fits the plane better and I like the concept of red white and blue, and the classic, he said in an interview with Fox and Friends on Friday. I think its going to look much better actually.
He said the new colors were inspired by first lady Melania Trumps fashion style,...

The flag is correct for that side of the plane.
Since the “flag pole” is at the stars, and the American flag never retreats, it is correct.
This is the same as our service men and women wear on their uniforms.
You are aware, aren't you, that an incoming president can cancel every executive order his predecessor made?
I prefer the American red, white and blue vs. the U.N. baby blue flag plane.
Doesn’t look mean enough.
Agreed the new blue shade is closer to the blue in the flag. I dislike the "UN blue" in use now.
“The flag image is incorrect. The blue background and stars should always be in the upper left, whether displayed vertically or horizontally.”
Can he be impeached for this?
Trump's 757 is the reverse of this color scheme. Same shade of blue on top, red band, white lower half. This is white on top, red band, blue lower half.
Looks okay to me... unsurprisingly elegant (no surprise, as Melania has good design sense). The light blue of the AF1 scheme has always struck me as being too “United Nations”-like, and the days of Ike flying in a polished, bare-metal Columbine II are long gone.
“I do not see it.”
I saw it immediately, and told my wife somebody would be comparing this to Trump One, or whatever Trump’s private plane is called. I don’t care personally. I like the color scheme, but some lefty is going to promote a comparison I told my wife in effort to create a stink of sorts to smear him.
Watch, and see.
You have have kept your pledge to Make America Great Again, and rebuild American manufacturing and industrial prowess.
The designer of the old paint scheme, Raymond Loewy, was one of the greatest industrial designers in American history. He personally designed the look of many iconic products and company logos that made the our country and our products look like they did when we were the king of the industrial world.
As you restore us to that position, please do not discard the history of our prior great age!
I suspect you’re using a liberal browser.
“You are aware, aren’t you, that an incoming president can cancel every executive order his predecessor made?”
Could the next president also change the paint scheme on Air Force One?
I don’t see it. Lots of red/white/blue combinations out there. One could claim it’s derivative of American Airlines or Amtrak and be just as valid as the liberal claims.
Probably. It is a Microsoft product.
Day one.
That was uncalled for.
Hi.
Thanks for the pics.
I was expecting to see a red “T” on the tail.
Democrats’ heads would explode.

“You are aware, aren’t you, that an incoming president can cancel every executive order his predecessor made?”
But you have to get it approved by a Hawaiian judge.
Good Job!!! (although now I have James Brown’s song “I feel good” in my head - ahh!)
What a beautiful plane! That’s the way the plane from the United States of America should look!!
