We voted today, too. At my voting site, I was #36 voter at noon.
I think they’ll get 100 for the whole day.

Good vote tally coverage here (yes, it is the NY Times):
8.6% in but McCready leads Bishop by 8,000 votes. That’s not a good sign.

Bishop ran a lousy campaign. Hopefully, President Trump can pull him through.
GOP gained in margin by 2% in Scotland County. Vs 2018. Complete results.
We slipped by 3% in Union. Partial results.
lead down to 2.7 looking better
the NC website has more votes in than NBC
Bishop needs 60% in Union to win. Currently, he's at 58+, with 60% of the day-of-vote returns in. But the central part of the county seat town of Monroe (largely black and Hispanic) has already been counted. Lots of votes still to be counted in the western part of the county, which is heavily white/Republican.
Close, but I'm optimistic.
Thanks for posting thread. Interested in a positive outcome for the GOP
candidate.
I don’t know the area, but in the “fairyland of the dairyland”, the liberal conclaves are always reported last. I recall Bob “the lush” Beckel on The Five years ago bragging about a call he received asking how many votes the dem had in his district. His response, “How many do you need?”
FYI, the small part of Mecklenberg County that is in NC-9 is Bishop s political base. This race is over and is greT news!
