Turnout is at about 2/3 of 2018 levels, which seems consistent with expectations— Nate Cohn (@Nate_Cohn) September 11, 2019

Do you folks realize that whoever wins this race has to run again in just one year?

If either were to go blue I think it would be GA first. One word: Atlanta. But I think we’ve got a bit of time before that *could* become a reality....

GOP gained in margin by 2% in Scotland County. Vs 2018. Complete results.

We slipped by 3% in Union. Partial results.

4,000 votes lead for McCready. Can anyone identify where the votes are coming from so we can get an idea of where this is hearing?

Dave Wasserman says Bishop needs about 61% of the vote in Union Co. Right now he is at 58% with half the votes counted.

Close, but Bishop can pull out a win.

In a district redrawn on the order of the North Carolina courts.

Nate Cohn is very quite right now. Maybe he is trying to find some more TP.

Well then the GOP could either do one of two things:

1. Curl up in the fetal position and cry

2. Establish an effective ground game that includes pounding the pavement in Democrat strongholds, have friendly conversations with voters and explain why Democrat policies don’t work.

I really, really, REALLY wish the GOP would stop ceding the cities to the Left.
