Not necessarily. 9th district only includes a small portion of extreme eastern Mecklenburg. This area is relatively wealthy and suburban, and is not a heavily D area. We shall see, but I fear McReady will win because the district is heavily minority.

and the vote only narrowed because of more Union reporting

Mark Harris REP 42,668 44.38%
Jeff Scott LIB 1,626 1.69%
Bishop closing in...now 1.6% behind with 34% counted.
