I do......In 2003 I was on a ski trip to Whistler and Black Comb and made the mistake of wearing an American flag pin on my ski jacket. I got nothing but bad looks from the lift attendants and even had one female stationed at a quad lift who was supposed to slow down the chair for the riders but didn't for me, even after I wished her a pleasant good morning then "smack" in the back of my legs from the chair.
I don't know if she was a Canadian or one of the many Australian ski bums working out there..........
The atmosphere then in early March was kind of strange.........
I spent the first three days skiing with my nephew and his buddies in the poor weather (drizzling rain) then the next two in the condo watching the beginning days of the Iraqi war..........
I hate to rag on the Canadians since my step sisters and step-mother are all naturalized U.S. citizens and staunch conservatives. (Step-mother now deceased).......

One does not simply “cut” heavy gage IPS ( Improved Plough Steel Cable without tools like Oxy-Acetylene or high explosives. Having spent a bit of time working with such cabling, these boys probably are in the 2+ inch diameter several hundred wire braid cables.

I don’t go to high places for the view unless there’s a mountain under my boots. I had a fall when I was a kid and developed a diversion to heights, I guess.
I haven’t fallen from a height BECAUSE I have an aversion. Even climbing metal grated stairs more than one story makes the back of my legs shiver. If I go into a lighthouse, I have to avoid looking down while climbing.
Gondolas are perfectly safe as long as muslims and antifa are not in the area.
