Democrats say white people are 'privileged' and say it like it's a bad thing.
Well, if they'd open their eyes, they'd see that we are ALL privileged to be living in America, the greatest and freest nation ever divinely inspired and created on earth. We see very few people fleeing America or asking for asylum elsewhere. But we do see millions risking their lives trying to come here, even illegally.
But then they might complain that white people in general may be more privileged than others. Guess they haven't noticed that most white people are middle class working people, many now former democrats. And there are also millions of poor and 'underprivileged' white people as well. Whites are not all privileged country clubbers.
I've also noticed that there are a lot of very successful blacks, Hispanics and other 'people of color' who are just as well off and therefore 'privileged' as any other American, regardless of skin color.
Hmmm... I've also noticed a lot of the democrats pushing the notion that all whites are 'privileged' just happen to be (God bless them) well educated lawyers and professional people and a heck of a lot of them are privileged enough to be walking in the halls of congress or elsewhere in the government (or powerful non-profits) where their privilege, influence and power (if corrupted by their anger and obviously biased views against equality for all) might be detrimental to the constitutional rights of others.
I doubt it's just coincidence that people who strive to become educated, strive to be good citizens, strive to remain independent and gainfully employed, get married and stay married, purchase a home and, as man & wife (two parents as God intended), raise their children and instill within them the same Judeo-Christian patriotic American values that made them successful whether black, white or whatever.
In America, we are all privileged and constitutionally guaranteed to share an equal right (granted by God) to the pursuit of happiness, ie, to be just as independent (free), happy and successful as our brains, talents, wit, grit, determination, drive and desire can take us (God willing).
Our equal and inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are granted to each of us by our Creator. But notice the right to the pursuit of happiness requires action on our part. In other words, happiness, success, privilege, home, faith, education, work, family, children, even good health (to the extent we can personally influence it by living right) are all gifts that we must be more than willing to just accept as 'free,' ie, they're not necessarily all free gifts. They come with certain responsibilities and obligations. You must strive for and earn the happiness category of gifts you pursue. Happiness is not guaranteed.
Not only that, but even if you achieve certain levels of happiness items, they can easily be lost. For example, in a weak moment like today when Senator Booker said he would like to punch the president, you can damage or even lose your privilege. Incivility can cost you your happiness, your privilege, even your freedom.

By the way, I also noticed that the accusation that all white people are privileged which took root when a black man was president has recently evolved into the charge that all white people are racists.

Has any single one of these Disciples of Stupid EVER been able to define the difference between “privilege” and being a member of the “majority”? EVER? Just one? Just give me one thing! Do I have “white privilege” in China? The Congo?
“Priviledge” is just a rhetorical device used by the Left, to divide people and weaken America.
How do they square this with “all cultures are equal, there’s no such thing as a superior culture” ?
Democrats are racists - always have been. CNN, MSNBC, all media, the left and progressives talk about race and the need for whites to serve pentance for their race, so they are all RACISTS. All they talk about is race because they have nothing else to talk about.

That statement, which is basically what liberals and democrats are saying every day, is so amazingly racist that it boggles the mind.
I absolutely have ‘white privilege’.
It consists of nothing more then “No one to blame for my failings but myself”.
That privilege has served me well.
I’m one of those “well educated lawyers.”
I got here by working my ass off ever since I was a teenager. I still work my ass off, like a lot of lawyers I generally have to work 7 days a week (taking Sunday morning off for church).
It’s the way I was raised by my parents, to be responsible, pull my own weight, and support my family.
And yet I listen to these layabouts and good for nothings who are nothing but a dead weight on society condemning me for “white privilege.”
From what I see on TV, Blacks are the most successful people in the world.
They make up close to half the population and maybe 80% of all Dr.s lawyers, Scientists, Judges etc. They clearly are all victims of White rapists, robbers and so forth.
Every police dept. has a tough, smart Black in charge. Making sure his White underlings stay in line.
I just saw an ad on TV. The first words out of the woman of color’s mouth were “The man who raped me was White”. Actually I am not sure what her race is but she is darker than Megan Markle.
The greatest privilege I ever had was meeting Sonny Rollins.

How about I had the “privilege” of losing my pop at 14 and giving most of my PT job money to mom as she needed it.
And the “privilege” of working 72 hours a week driving a cab while I went to school, where guns and knives were pulled one me and a bat was swung at me (and he was looking for a home run)
I have the privilege of paying a Tremendous amount in taxes because the perpetually on welfare groups have to be taken care of.
And the privileges of fatigue from taking care of the elderly in the family, maintaining a house, paying bills and on and on an on.
Anyone else out there really privileged too? :)

The demonrats don’t have a platform so they’ve had to revert to the old standby of racism. Seems they don’t want ‘20 and are doing everything in the world not to come close to winning which is fine by me but don’t destroy the country in the process.

I went to school and I worked, both full time.
I dealt with other responsibilities at the time.
Heck, WE ALL DEAL with lots of responsibilities ALL of the time!
PRIVILEGE is getting to stay home and do drugs and pop out kids with no means of supporting them because your home and your food and your heath are covered by others’ hard work.
THAT’S privilege
I am white and I have always felt privileged. My parents were married, for seventy years. I was raised in America at a time, the fifties and sixties, I would consider a financial and social golden age. I received a wonderful education and, at the time I attended, college was so cheap I was able to work my way through at the kind of job kids could get. This is because the government was not yet involved in financing education. I had the opportunity to get whatever job I wanted and to save money while living a modestly comfortable life. Best of all, I had a wonderful family. None of them were in prison or violent abusers. None of them drank or used drugs. And, all of them had technical educations and good jobs that afforded them a comfortable lifestyle and luxurious retirement. Through them, I saw a world that inner city kids never see.
I look back on that world and see it is, for the most part, gone. Government ruined the education system. Government moved Section 8 housing into formerly crime free neighborhoods turning almost every place into ghettos.
A white, American child can’t even get job where I grew up unless he is fluent in Spanish. Government has been printing itself money driving inflation that is a hidden tax on every penny I ever saved. It is almost impossible to buy an older, beater car because those cars have so many features that can’t be repaired by a kid with little money. Worse still, kids today are growing up in a humorless politically correct environment that stifles imagination and thought. Every movie and TV show must have one person of each color, ethnicity and sexual orientation. Nothing on TV or the movies is entertaining. It is all politically correct propaganda.
I miss the fifties and sixties.
